If Raceland isn't great and they aren't average, where do they fall? Good? Decent? I'd say they are decent, which is better than average but not quite good. They definately aren't great. My reasoning? The 1-a poll this week had 10 good teams listed. Raceland wasn't one of them. There can't be that many "good" teams in 1-a or they would all be ranked. I mean, 1-a is watered down this year once you get outside the top ten. Then its teams that are decent, average, bad, and terrible. Based on the scores, Raceland appears to be a decent team that can be good in the playoffs. They just aren't good right now. Only decent.

He's sick and he's not coaching because he's sick. I haven't seen anyone on here speculating what the "sickness" is. No one has said he's in rehab or undergoing dialyosis or being treated for cancer. People are wondering how his "sickness" will affect his future in coaching. I think a lot of coaches have been put through worse on here.

Hoptown won't hold Mercer to 12 points in the first half, let alone an entire game. People I talked to Saturday night said the Tigers laid down in the second half against Highlands. They have serious issues on offense and only have two offensive threats - McGregor and Mouldin. And neither of them get enough touches to be effective. It appears help may be on the way after reading that Hoptown's middle school team won their conference. It won;t help them this week. Mercer 34 Hopkinsville 14

Owensboro Catholic was off Friday. So was Trigg County. Daviess County, Graves County, Madisonville, and Marshall County were all off as well. Surely one of those teams would have been happy to play Lone Oak compared to some of their nondistrict games. No reason for Lone Oak to be scheduling Todd County, Fulton City, and Union County with the talent they have this year.
