Silver Grove rolls again led by Teddy Wiseman 24 Steven Pelle 23 and Corey Pelle with 22 points. The Trains press and tough D had this game won from the get go putting up 32 in the first qt. Villa was led by Love with 17 and Hamilton with 12. Nice win for the Big Trains SG 32 19 17 22 =90 Villa 10 15 12 17 =54

I hope that is a joke please don't tell me HHS could beat a team like Hoover. Hoover will have a new starting QB next year plus thats a big trip for them to take for a game. I think that giver the Cards a chance, but I take the Bucs in this one!

C Pelle had 22 and I think Steve Pelle had 20. Steve is letting everyone know there is another Pelle for the Big Trains. His Avg is around 20 points per game this last month. If Teddy gets his shot back the Trains could be hard to stop. Allen and Ward are playing well. You throw in a little Fancher and Nelson maybe SG could give BB a run who knows. As for the game SG cruised all night killing Bellevue with their press. The Tigers are better than I thought they just get to emotional. If they keep their cool and just relax when things are not going their way for a few minutes they could get more W before the year is over. Good luck to both teams!!

I think Chip Burks will be missed more than Hellmann. He was pretty good on bothe sides of the ball.

Tony did Play for the NewCath team that won all A State and 9th region. He was the lone senior starter on that team. His whole life he had been known for hustle and great D. I think you can see it by the way SG gets to the ball, and are always diving on the floor doing whatever they have to do to make a play. He loves basketball more than anything in life.

After I read more of this thread I keep thinking to myself who is Deming. I went to NewCath and we never played Demming in anything. Why haven't I heard to much of the school. Whats their history like?

I just heard that tonights game in the Grove has been called off. I am not sure of a make up date yet. The Tigers hung with the Big Trains for a while when they met earlier in the year. I am interested to see how this game goes down. I think SG wil take it by 15 with C Pelle going for 30+ and S Pelle throwing in 15.

He did get his 19 exact. He had a layup for his 1002 point but C Peller blocked it on the glass, one of the best blocks I have seen in a long time.

Great night by both Pelle's!! A nice win for the Trains putting up 30 in the second qt. I also want to say congrats to Jesse Hall on his 1000th point. He is a good basketball player and seems to be an even better person. I noticed he always helped players off the floor even from SG. It was nice that Silver Grove stopped the game as soon as he hit the mark and presented him the game ball. All of the Big Trains on the floor went over to shake his hand. Tonight was a class act game by both teams, something you don't always see these days. I do want to call out one BC fan the jerk in the first row. Nothing makes me more mad or makes someone look more stupid then when they are a grown adult and they taunt the other team all night. He stood up most of the night yelling not cheering for his team but yelling rude things towards one SG player. It makes me nuts when GROWN ADULTS treat HS kids like that. Grow up buddy get a life!! I refuse to let one jerk mess us such a nice night. Anyways congrats again to Hall for the player you are and for the person you are. Good luck in the future. He won't slow him down to much. Cooper is a big boy but Kiernan has a few inches on him and is a lot stronger. I think Kiernan goes for 20 +

Well said there, he only had 6 points on two 3's. Wiseman and Pelle combine for over 50 most nights. Again Cooper is the man for the Mustangs he could score 40+ in the semi if he wants.

Pelle is a great ball player and proved it again tonight. I think one three that Pelle hit was shot from the mens room. The kids a baller for sure. I was impressed with Cooper (I think that is his name) the big man from Brossart. I thought in pre game he was just a big body to take up room in the middle, but he sure does use that big body well. A few more side notes from the game......BB gets a good amount of kids to come to the game and they just stand there doing nothing, but the adults from BB crack me up. I had a great time listening to them. I think the refs blew about 20 calls in the first half but thats another story. It was also nice to sit next to a BGPer Brossart fan all night. Always good to put a face with a name;)

I think SG can win this game. They are hot right now. Kids from The Grove look at the game VS BB as it is the biggest game ever. They want a W over the Mustangs more than any other win. They are going to come out ready to play with something to prove. Pelle 25+ points. SG-68 BB-59

Thats a big one. I guess they had somethings going on last year. Let the coach do his job!! Are they going to play with the big boys this year or is it another JV season for the Mustangs?

Hey, thats a good point! That may just be the best game I have ever seen. I still stick with over all CovCath by far but best ever NewCath 00' That's the year they won All A state and the 9th region.

If you cross the river some teams are way better. I have been to Moeller vs St X b ball game and let me tell you what that place was CRAZY puts CovCath to shame!!

Over it all it is CovCath in a landslide, but the best I have ever seen was NewCath 00'. A class A school with boys and girls they would take over wherever they went and the hill was always rockin. They took over EKU and Rupp that year too!! That was the best ever but as I said year in and out CovCath takes the cake!!
