Corey Pelle had a HUGE night as Silver Grove wins 85-65. Pelle had 26 points, 14 assists, 8 rebounds and 8 steals. He also added i think about 2 or 3 blocks to that stat also. Great all around ball player and it was proven tonight during this game. Steven Pelle also added 27 points tonight for the trains too.

 

Also would to send my congrats to Jesse Hall of Bracken County for reaching his 1000th career point tonight. He's he good ball player also.

Great night by both Pelle's!! A nice win for the Trains putting up 30 in the second qt. I also want to say congrats to Jesse Hall on his 1000th point. He is a good basketball player and seems to be an even better person. I noticed he always helped players off the floor even from SG. It was nice that Silver Grove stopped the game as soon as he hit the mark and presented him the game ball. All of the Big Trains on the floor went over to shake his hand. Tonight was a class act game by both teams, something you don't always see these days. I do want to call out one BC fan the jerk in the first row. Nothing makes me more mad or makes someone look more stupid then when they are a grown adult and they taunt the other team all night. He stood up most of the night yelling not cheering for his team but yelling rude things towards one SG player. It makes me nuts when GROWN ADULTS treat HS kids like that. Grow up buddy get a life!! I refuse to let one jerk mess us such a nice night. Anyways congrats again to Hall for the player you are and for the person you are. Good luck in the future. From the Bracken Co. family, I want to first send our thanks to Silver Grove for the way you treated Jesse tonight. Most teams would not stop the game for a milestone, let alone present thim the game ball. A lot of class shown by the players on the floor congradulating him. Sorry that our fan didn't show the same. I wasnt able to attend, so if a Bracken fan would PM me I would like to know who made us look bad.

Jesse Hall will be sorely missed by Bear fans after this season,has been a treat watching him for the past 3 years. Silver Grove must feel the same way about the Pelle kid,what a baller. Anyone there care to guess how many Hall scored and if he was the leading scorer for the Bears?

Hall needed 19 to get his 1000th point and that is exactly what he ended up having tonight. I'm not sure if he laed the polar bears in scoring or not tho.

Good to see that Steven had a good night also. I was told he got a little frustrated early on this year but has really started to turn the corner. I watched the three Pelle boys play last year . They all impressed me.

Congtatulations to Jesse Hall on a great achivement he is a heck of a ball player and a great kid to boot. Just wish Bracken could have pulled this one out. Also THANK YOU to the fans and players of Silver Grove a class act for sure when Jesse reached his 1000th point nice to see some schools still take pride in the KIDS and what they do for the school and there community no matter who ,what, where, or when. Nice game from pelle as well sure is fun to watch.

He did get his 19 exact. He had a layup for his 1002 point but C Peller blocked it on the glass, one of the best blocks I have seen in a long time.

Pelle is having an outstanding year, in both scoring and assists.
