The Big Trains roll again tonight in the Grove. The Trains were led by Corey Pelle with 42 points and two big dunks. Teddy Wiseman added 19 points. The Trains used a strong press and ran all night to stop Calvary. Everytime I see them play I am more impressed by the D of SG than anything, they cause a lot of turnovers. Calvary was led by Joe Flanigan who had 16 in the first half but then was held to only 4 in the second to finish with 20. He seems to be a real good ball player but just got shutdown after halftime. The Trains shot over 60% from the line and 50% from the outside. Way to go Big Trains!!

The thing that makes SG is coaching. Think about it... Is there even 100 kids in thw whole school? Not very many boys to work with to put a team on the court. The Grove takes what they have and have turned these kids into good basketball players. Go Trains

Bellevue is not fast not big not strong but they have a couple guys who just throw the ball up and it goes in. I couldn't believe some of the shots that fell for the Tigers last night. Wiseman had a good game he always seems to be in the right spot at the right time. I felt bad for C Pelle. He was getting knocked around like Shaq. Elbows were going at him all night. Towards the end of the game the ball was on the floor he jumped over a kid from Bellevue who dove for it and was flat on the floor and the kid reached up and pulled him down by his leg (no foul called) He still had 33. The Grove needs to hit some 3's. They have been awful from outside all year!! Pelle has to be sore today. I guess thats what you get vs Bellevue. The Breds roll into Bellevue tonight it will get ugly fast GO BREDS!!:thumb:

I don't think the Tigers can slow down Pelle so I'll take the Big Trains by 15+ To make things worse for Bellevue, NewCath comes rolling in on Saturday. It could be a rough weekend for the boys in black and gold. Good luck to all!! :thumb:

Pelle is a good ball player. He can really create shots, and has some fast hands on D. #33 for the tigers did't look like much of a ball player in warmups but had a really good game. Good win for the Trains!!:thumb:

It's not like "good ole Bob" does anything anyway. He is surrounded by great coaches. Let me be the first to tell you the Breds made a big mistake by letting Campbell County steal away coach Terry Brown. Look what the Breds did last years with him in the booth and look what CC did this year. Best year they have had in what?...at least ten years. I know Bob wanted him there but Knoll wouldn't offer him a teaching job what a stupid move there!!

Dale and Bob just don't get along so I don't see these two working something out. NewCath plays enough big schools as it is right now!!
