Murray the best from NKY since Shaun? Are you serious? How about Jared Lorenzen, Gino, Derek Smith, Brett Hamblen, Brent Grover, Ben Scott, Kunhein, Rob Smith? Those are only the ones from Highlands that have been better than Murray. Artie Steinmetz from CovCath was better than Murray, as was Mike Donoghue. O'Toole from Dixie was better. There are others that are as well. Vince Murray is a GREAT HS football player, one who can play on the next level for a Div. 1A team. Don't discredit him by overhyping the way you are.

As I said, I have seen all three teams play (in the last three weeks), and CCH is the best team. But there is no question in my mind that Vince Murray is the best player on any of those three teams. He is a beast on both sides of the ball. Watching him run the ball is fun.

Mr. Murray is QUITE a difference maker. I have seen HHS, CCH and Ryle play this year. CCH is the best team of the three, but Vince Murray is the best player I saw in NKY this year.

I don't think Henderson brought a second team.

Glen Este is probably about the same level as Trinity. Ryle played them early in the season.

Murray's catch on that screen in the first half where he pulled it down one-handed and then had a nice run was a great play. He is a big time player.

I counted 38 players in pads (1 in jersey, no pads). Henderson County also brought 31 cheerleaders. How many other big schools have the team almost outnumbered by the cheerleaders?

The finals are held at Canton McKinley and Massilon Washington, which I believe is Stark County. Also, the D-I teams in Cincinnati (not sure about any other part of the state) routinely play on college fields after the first round.

How big is the stadium at JC? Are advance tickets going to be a must? Thinking of making the trip, wanted to see if I needed to have someone go up to CCH and pick some up.

In 94 NKY had three in the championship game. Beechwood and CovCath won titles, Boone lost to Trinity.

I disagree on that point. I think the coach who was in charge of Durham's recruiting should make the call. Not sure if that is what happened or not, but I think that is the ideal situation.
