  1. Sometime last night. This thing has been on my screen for about three days nonstop now. And I have spent quite a bit of time watching it, as I have a LOT of free time these days.
  2. I did. Saw a couple of them "playing", chasing each other around. Really cool.
  3. Agreed. The people who tried to compare his decision to Matt Leinart's are way off IMO. Leinart would have been the #1 pick and chose to stay in. Much different decision.
  4. A tradition that has been going on for, at the most, five consecutive years. I know that the final game of the 2001 season was not Highlands. Holmes I believe.
  5. I was at a formal dance at a hotel in town that did not have a TV with cable in a common area for us to watch. So I had a friend on the phone giving me play by play and about 20 people crowded around listening to my relay. It was pretty crazy. See ya in Florida! :dancingpa :dancingpa :dancingpa
  6. Kind of a boring game, hard to pay great attention. I drifted off to sleep a couple times.
  7. Trinity's play calling is superb. They really do have a coaching staff that is second to none, and it makes a world of difference.
  8. It was. It was pretty much all Gray on their TD drive. I hope I can dry out by tomorrow.
  9. Very well written article. Had the honor to meet Mr. Cooper on a couple occasions. Hope the Raiders can get one more W for him this year!
  10. No way. You're ugly.  I got a nice couch with your name on it.
  11. Most coaches who are successful at programs that are not established football powers have to do similar things. Comes with the territory.
  12. Everytime I check the darned forecast for Friday it looks drastically different than the last time!
  13. Thanks, wasn't sure if he played or not, my radio reception was fuzzy the whole game. His return definitely bolsters an already strong defense.
  14. Should approach 70 during the day Friday weather.com tells me now. That's a change from the last time I looked.
  15. The high school is in Boone County. The church and grade school are in Kenton though.
  16. Yeah, I was thinking of the right year, but got the numbers wrong. It was Brett Dietz's senior year. What started out looking like it would be a great year in Park Hills turned into quite the opposite.
  17. The first Ryle win over CCH was in '99, not '00. I was thinking of the right year, just had the wrong numbers associated with it.
  18. It's a nice place. I spend quite a bit of time there myself.
  19. Pretty sure CovCath won the regular season and playoff games in '98, both close games though. I think in the playoff game Travis Grant (then a freshman) ran back a kickoff for a touchdown. If Ryle won in '04 then the two W's are '04 and '00.
  20. According the CovCath football website. 8 seems about right to me. I believe there were a couple playoff matchups. I remember the one CCH loss, I believe it was in 2000, third game of the season. CCH looked like world beaters up to that point, having beaten (at the time) nationally ranked St. X in the LexCath bowl, and then beating Boone pretty good. Not sure when the other loss was.
