Why not pull him and see how things go and then when they need him late, they can put him in? I thought that was a poor decision because, yes, Miller had a field day once Gibson was on the bench. Also, why is this team unable to draw fouls? 6 FT attempts is not enough, especially when you have guys that can drive the basket and draw fouls like Ward and Meyer. FINAL Holy Cross - 74 Newport - 72 Newport tried to get off a shot from the corner but may have been partially blocked. They suffer their first loss in region this year. They are a good team that would have done some damage down state. For Holy Cross, they are a Senior led team that fought tooth and nail all game. They NEVER TRAILED and led by as many as 15 points.
