9th region All "A" Championship is on the line tonight as the Holy Cross Indians look to go back-to-back and make a return to EKU in a few weeks. The Newport Wildcats are young and talented and come into this game on quite a roll. Should be a great game and atmosphere tonight at 7:00 pm at Beechwood.

I really like Newport in this game, but I just don't know if their ready to take that next step.  My crystal ball is saying HC in a close one.

I think this will come down to pace.  If HC can speed it up, it will be HC all day going away.  If Newport can play at their slow down pace and keep the amount possessions to a minimum it might be a dog fight.  I will take HC either way though.  Newport has a bright future, but future isn't now.  Meyer and company for me.
