It's according to which Walton team shows up. They are capable of pulling the upset or they could lose by 30. I'll say Anderson by 16.

Carroll County fell behind 24-0 and didn't score until about :50 remained in the first half. At this point they went on a 30-14 run to cut the lead to 38-30. That's as close as it got but it was a valiant 2nd half effort by the Lady Panthers. At one point in the 1st half CCHS had 4 team fouls and Girdy had all 4 of them. Very sorry to see Girdy play her last game but the future looks bright for Carroll County. Freshman Curry, 8th grader Devine and soph. Osborne looked very good at times tonight along with junior Henderson. Good season ladies.

I saw Ervin Stepp play several games in high school. He was in range when he got off the bus and wasn't one bit shy about lettin' it fly. I would say probably 50% of his points came from 20+ feet so if the three point line had been in place in those days who knows what his numbers would have been!!!:eek::scared:

I am from Elkhorn City and I remember that game. We beat the the #1 team in the state a few weeks later, Lawrence County, 13-7, to advance to the state championship game, where, you are correct, we lost to Paris 21-12 to finish 13-1. We did win the state championship in 1964 against Russellville, 33-7.

It's all about getting the kids to buy into the system and then executing!!!

I hear that Gallatin didn't play well at all. They didn't hit any three's in either game and only shot like 29% in this game. I'm sure Hazard's defense had a little something to do with it.
