Any information about this game from anyone there? Judging from the final this one was a nail-biter? Despite losing Owen has shown that the smaller schools in the 8th are closing the gap. However, I will add: There are no moral victories in March. Good win for Shelby setting up a semi-final game versus the South Oldham Dragons.

Officiating was horrid! The trio of refs decided who was going to win the game before tip-off. Several bad calls in the 4th quarter decided the game. Those referees should be ashamed.

Terrible officiating. It might have had a different outcome but 5 bad calls late in the game all went Shelby's way. Congrats to Owen on a good season. No one thought they would be as good as they were. Good luck to Shelby,

If Watkins is an official you can bet that there are going to be some HORRID calls. :thumb: So many coach's have scratched him I don't see how he can be an official at any games. Just Amazing.

Actually saw him officiate a game earlier in the year where I believe not one, but both, of the coaches had scratched him. Wonder if that really matters anymore?

 

Hate to see a game decided this way. Would have been nice to see a smaller school advance to the semi's. (Maybe Gallatin or Walton can carry that banner now.)
