  1. Raceland got a break early went they held Boyd County on the first series of the game and then the snap sailed over the punters head. Raceland capitalized from the 19 yard line with a short pass and nice run after the catch for TD and 7-0 lead in the first 2 minutes.
  2. At the Half: Raceland 20, Boyd County 7
  3. Justin Davidson may be hard to cover with his combination of size and speed from the TE/SE position. But he impressed me more at the MLB position... He covers side to side very well.
  4. End of 3rd Qtr: still 35 - 6. A couple of undisciplined penalties. Totally unacceptable.
  5. 17 seconds left in 2nd Qtr: TD Joel Korcep, Russell 35, East Carter 6
  6. 1:10 left in 2nd Qtr: Russell 28, East Carter 6
  7. TDS by Patrick Cooper, Troy Huffine, Paul Spradlin and Zack Thompson
  8. 4:22 left in the 2nd: Russell 28, East Carter 0
  9. 8:29 left in 2nd Qtr: Russell 21, East Carter 0
  10. 9:00 minutes left in 2nd quarter: Russell 14, East Carter 0
  11. True statement. Another example that is more likely to be seen is a swing that hits the cathcers mit then hits the ball for a base hit....even though the umpire may call catchers interference, its a delayed dead ball and the play continues live until it ends and then either the cathcers interference is applied or the result of the play whichever is in favor of the offense.
  12. I heard probably Randy Ross.
  13. Its a very hard and intense rehab. Best of luck to him.
  14. Only from what was in this morning's paper. http://www.dailyindependent.com/localsports/local_story_105230646.html
  15. Score from last night at Russell.
  16. So how many regions are completed? I know Pikeville in the 15th and Bath County in the 16th.
  17. That's going to be an interesting battle this year. Do they play again before tournament play?
  18. Who pitched for both teams?
  19. well disregard everything I said here, because after re-reading the initial thread, somehow I missed the part about the batter bumping the catcher... I would try to explain what I was thinking, but I'm not sure myself. Its called old age.
  20. How many players from Greenup County are out, injured or whatever? I've heard they have lost a few to injuries
  21. Bath County Beat Raceland last night 8-4 to win the 16th Region.
  22. I understand that. But because of the 6A class system in football, it is natural for people to make the comparison. No worries, I'm not lobbying a compaign to change the name, I was just making a comment.
  23. So since they are going 125 smallest schools, shouldn't it be the Small School Classic instead of the All "A"?
  24. Tonight in the 16th, Raceland Plays Elliott County and Russell plays Bath. Then the two winners play tomorrow night. All these games are at Russell. The winner of the 16th plays the winner of the 15th, which I believe is Pikeville.
  25. Maybe I mad a bad assumption, but I was assuming there was contact with the bat and the catcher.
