I said in the pregame thread I think Belfry is going to be OK in this one. Even though JC is a heavy favorite I just feel good for the Pirates. We shall see I guess.

I still keep coming back to the "during live play" wording and I wonder if those things are always against the rules or are they ok during dead ball periods.

Everything points to a JC domination in this game. For some reason, I have a suspicion that the Pirates are going to be OK.

Question for anyone, not just VOR... What constitutes "during live play"? Much like the music that is played at some venues (Johnson Central) would air horns be OK between plays but not once the QB steps up to the line?

If your week starts on Friday, then I would be more apt to accept it. Then you would only have to limit the JV time later in the 7 day period and everybody would be available on Friday night. What if your Friday game gets postponed to Saturday, and then you have another game on Thursday? I'd like to see the written version of this rule. Is it a proposal or is it an adopted rule change at this point?

No way I would throw away a perfectly good pair of shoes. I will get a couple years worth of wear out of them, minimum. I don't remember a lot of HC players going both ways in that game against Belfry. I do remember Belfry being the fresher team late in the game.
