Highlands will expose everything the Rocks will need to work on before the season opens. I am personally glad we are playing one of the best in KY for our scimmage.

I said MAY start off slow. The Trinity coaching staff is the best in the business IMO, and I feel they will have the guys ready to roll. The talent is there this year, and I believe the young men are chomping at the bit to improve from last year. The schedule is a beast. Come playoff time...I think the Rocks are going to be the best in the state. It should be a fun year.

There are a lot of sophs and juniors...but they're not your average sophs and juniors. My prediction is they may start off the season slow, but watch out come post season...and the next two to three years.

I hope Sewell does win it, not only being a Trinity fan, but a fan of kids who show class in all they do. He's an outstanding young man, who always shows great sportsmanship, and to be honest, has worked his butt of to get where he is. Here is to hoping. GO ROCKS!

My avatar says who I cheer for yes. Who is a better senior in the state this year? Take Sewell away from T and what is thier record? Like I said, if he doesn't win it, the award is a sham

Alan, its no secret....the 6A title comes through X and T. I also feel that with it being that way, it makes it even more impressive to win the title in 6A. Not knocking Highlands, but if they had to go through X or T to win thier titles every year, I dont think they'd have as much success

They do NOT go through St.X every year either. I dont care about numbers or classes. Trinity and St.X cannot win a state championship without going through one another. That is why Trinity's 7 titles in 10 years is THE MOST impressive. Twist it how you want, say what you feel, but the truth be told, Rocks are the class this decade, hence the title of the thread.

Indeed it does. You play for the life experience with the goal of winning the title. Everyone starts the year with the same goal. Win the title. If you dont win it, you have not accomplished the goal. Is the season a waste. Absolutely not. SK had a great season, as did Trinity, but they BOTH came up short of the goal.

SK could not stop Trinity's style of play. Never have, never will. Ricky Bobby said it best,"if you aint first, your last".

I have a feeling that it will be remembered next fall when these two meet again. Congrats to the Tigers. Enjoy it, you earned it and deserve it.

The stats have not been posted all year, because the website Trinity had, was MUCH more in depth than ANY stat page on KHSAA. That site was lost. I doubt seriously papalee, that you understand what statisticians go through with the KHSAA on a weekly basis, let alone what it takes to even take the stats. You sir, are completely out of line. YOU get your facts right.

Next year, we'll have it back, and better then ever, trust me, I know.

Until a debacle and total screw up by yahoo, Trinity had THE BEST stat page in the state. Uncontrollable circumstances took that away. Before you criticize something, understand what happened before you call someone out.

I played with Rob Bironas at Trinity, he did in fact kick. If memory serves me right, he didn't handle extra points. That was done by Chris Cash, but he kicked field goals and boomed kickoffs. He went to Auburn for a year I believe, then to a small college and then of course..Pro Bowl.
