Trinity 56 Lawrence North, IN 23

Rocks play a very solid game on both sides of the ball. Two returns for touchdown. A great start to the season.

Beatty really likes this team.

Broadcast sounded like it was from the far side of the moon, but from what I heard the Rocks did sound good... special teams...wow!

Yeah, that made it hard to follow. :irked:

How many scores did Mr. Quick have tonight?

WE had 382 total offensive yards, and 244 return yards....they had 257 and 171

Wright was 17/20 for 190, 1 td, 0 int

Either 4 or 5 td's were scored by sophomores tonight.

Quick had 9 rec, for 113 yards, 1 td

Confirmed 5 sophomore td's tonight.

Trinity had nearly a 50/50 balance in offense.....rushing for 181 and passing for 178. Sounds like they need to prepare big-time for Manual who decimated Fern Creek last night.

Wow... this is a smackdown. Pardon my ignorance, but what kind of team does Lawrence North, IN have this year? For those T fans who saw/listened to the game, what was the difference between last year's loss and this year's decisive win by Trinity?

Something tells me this year's Trinity-Cincy St. X and Trinity-Elder games are going to be awesome. Rarely (i.e., never) have I rooted for Trinity (which is out of respect, not hatred!), but it would be fun to see Trinity punch Cincy St. X and/or Cincy Elder right in the mouth, to shut up our "neighbors to the north."

Trust me I think Trinity will be fine against Manual..lol

Our team struggled a little bit with playing 4 quarters last year. We were also banged up at this time. While I like this win, the 5 td's by sophomores concerns me only in that they'll need to perform like that in every game, and I'm not sure sophomores can do that. Only time will tell.
