Harlan Co will try the power running game. It did very well against a very good TN team. Morristown held on 2 consecutive downs inside the 1 yd line early in the 3rd quarter to change the game. Harlan Co has new QB this year and it looks like they have improved at that position. Harlan Co did seem to wear down as the game went along.

A very competitive game that the Black Bears could have easily won. A goal line stand here and untimely fumble there. According to the announcers, this was the 10th ranked team in TN.

Pikeville made a couple of mistakes in the punting game that led to 2 immediate touchdowns for Harlan. Harlan looked like a team that already had a couple of games under their belt both on offense and defense. If they play again later in the season it will be a much closer game but I would still go with Harlan.
