I listened to the game on the radio. Bracken Co had the ball for the most part of the game but could not put enough points on the board. Bracken didn't have any big playmakers and no passing game. Harlan has won the last 2 weeks but have not played very well.

I sure miss old Evarts High School in Harlan County. I miss those rivalry games with Harlan Ind. Evarts, Cumberland and Cawood have consolidated in to Harlan Co and now the program is in complete chaos. When I look on the field I can't believe this all that is left of these 3 schools....plus Lynch was a powerhouse when I was in high school. They consolidated in the early 80's with Cumberland. Every aspect of this county is going downhill quickly with no end in sight.

He will be the laughing stock of the state.......Harlan County High School already is.

At Harlan County......it's not what have you done for me. It's what have you done for me lately!

After leading most of the game Harlan Co let this get away in the closing minutes.

Boone Allison kicks a 27 yd field goal with 7 seconds left for the win at Harlan. Pineville had 2 five yard penalties prior to the kick. Delay of game (coach in the huddle to long) and off sides.
