  1. I think alot of NASCAR fans are doing what I did years ago and that is get interested in Formula One. The technology of those F1 cars is amazing and the racing is more exciting.
  2. Being a private school, Trinity does not have to report its salaries to anyone and because T is part of the Catholic Church, it doesn't have to file a 990.
  3. I feel pretty confident it is not that high. I don't know what he makes off his summer football camps but that part of his compensation does not come from Trinity, it comes from camp attendees.
  4. I would imagine the only people who know are Beatty (and I assume his wife), Trinity president Rob Mullin, T AD Rob Saxton and a few people in T's accounting office.
  5. You sure seem very knowlegable of how to steal wire
  6. I would think this is all the way up to the board, the accounting department probably had no say. I would also think this national company is on the leading edge of the "hot" stuff in High School athletic apparel that Shively can't get just yet so this could be more marketing than it is financial.
  7. Let's hear from some of these old fart Trinity grads about coach Jim Kennedy (HC of T's first state championships), I heard he was a warm and fuzzy guy, lol.
  8. I agree, there was one thing he said at the end of the reg season game that rubbed me the wrong way. Must not have been too bad because I cannot recall what he said.
  9. First off, dude needs to switch to decaf!!!!
  10. Is it time for Bob to leave Trinity? A resounding no. He can stay for numerous more years if he wants. If this year or next year he decides to retire, the next time I see him, I will give him a heart felt congratulations and thank him for making Trinity a regional super power in football. After that, in my mind I will feel sorry for the poor son of a gun who takes his place.
  11. Not an easy game on that schedule.
  12. Do you believe that beyond Woolford, St. X's stubborn insistence that St. X head coaches be X men before Wallace probably cost X a few championships? I get that it is great when one of your school's sons can be the head coach but when there are more qualified candidates, you have to get them.
  13. Why are both of you not surprised? Has Butler done this often in the past?
  14. Huh? I was referring to you or anyone particular. Just that parents I hear griping, lack of sonny boy playing time is more than half the cause.
  15. Last I have heard, Rob Mullen is still a very strong supporter of Beatty. So long as the president of the school has his back, everything else is trivial.
  16. Especially parents who kids are not playing and they are convinced it is because the coach is being unfair to their little darling. Heaven forbid the kid starting ahead of their child may actually be a better player.
  17. Coming off of a close loss at Male, this was bad timing for X, T was still angry about the Male loss and came out playing mad. X will be fine for the rest of the regular season but getting revenge against Male in the playoffs will be tough.
  18. Did it seem like to those of you at the game, in the second half Male somewhat went away from passing to Cummins?
  19. Male playing We Will Rock You Classy
  20. Male scores TD pass to Cummins 14 to 7 Male
