If there is a better RB than Jaylin Bross I would like to see them. Guy is tough to bring down.

1956 was first championship so 1940’s was last decade before now that had no championships. Heck of a streak broken.

Coach Wallace made a comment in paper about it’ll be nice when St. X can be competitive in these types of games; what was the main issue or top two issues that caused St. X not to be competitive?

QB play needs to improve. To many interceptions and overthrowing open receivers plus had some drops by receivers. Felt bad for Bodhaine getting pulled at halftime but he was off tonight. Only had 11 yds passing at half. Will be interesting to see who QB will be next year between Mekhi Smith, Jack Sivori, and Adam Boone.

STX will be back sooner rather than later. From what I hear both their FR & Soph classes have a lot of talent. Nothing against Woolford but the program took a few steps backward under his tenure as coach. This is a 24/7 job. Hopefully Wallace has the foundation he needs to get the program past the 3rd round of the playoffs. I would think a few changes will be coming in his coaching staff. A lot of young talent in the program needs the best coaching it can get.

I agree. Will be young team next year. Will be several Juniors and Sophomores playing playing next year.

Didn’t realize Bodhaine had been pulled, that is unfortunate for him but probably best for team. St. X does appear to have a solid foundation with a good freshman and sophomore class; we’ll see how things play out. At the end of every season head coaches will find things to change and tweak to help their programs to continue moving forward; Coach Wallace will be no different.

 

Congratulations to the seniors on a great 4 years.

We got beat, future is bright. It will be interesting to see how we use the four potential quarterbacks next year and what route we go. I’m not sure the offense ever found itself this year.

Didn’t the KHSAA start championships in 1959? Still, first time since the 50’s.

Apparently there was some form of recognized Championships before KHSAA. Male claims several going way back also.
