I don't think that Elliott County is over rated but I do think that Elliott thought that Rose Hill was just a two man team. When the other players for Rose Hill step up and play to their potential it only makes Euton and Jackson better.

I don't see a problem with it. I don't like to see a player who starts varsity or is the first off the bench play JV. It is "Junior"Varsity:D

Okay I am going to say Rose Hill with an upset.

Good win for the ladies from Elliott County. Coach Romer and Cantrell did a good job on keeping the team focused.

I would have to say if a team is considered the best ever in the state then they would have to be the best ever team in their Region. Elliott County is a very good team. Even if the 16th Region was a strong Region they would still be the team to beat this year. I will have to vote for the '61 Tomcats as being the best ever in the 16th.

I noticed you had him a floor level seat. It would have been good to see him back at the "Stew".

Good win for the Royals. As posted earlier Mike Davis was the games MVP. Both teams struggled to get the ball in the hoop. Ashland 29% and Rose Hill 33%. The defense for both teams played well.

It is a shame that one of the two best teams(Elliott/Raceland) in the 16th will be gone after the first round. This is a hard game to predict. If Coach Romer can keep the Lady Lions focussed on this game then I will give the nod to Elliott. But on the other hand Raceland will want to avenge the earlier loss. This will be a good game.

If this is true this is a huge loss for East Carter and the 16th Region. She is a quality young lady who comes from a quality family. I have known her mom since she(her mom) was born. I am sure if Leah has left the team she has had a good reason.
