Sorry, I do not.

If you can pick up WLGC 107.5 the game is being broadcast on a delay and should be starting in a few minutes.

Thats 105.7. sorry cvillecat, thanks for the info!

:thumb:Thanks for the correction. It is getting past my bedtime.

I'll have to take this crow dinner (to go) since I just had a healthy portion on the Tomcat thread!;)

Boyd came out strong in the 3rd quarter and took control. I believe Selby may have had 20 boards.

I have to give Russell some credit for their game plan that seemed to want to limit Selby's touches which was very, very smart on their part. They packed it in around him and he didn't see the ball much in the half court offense unless it was on a rebound or something. Nice coaching in that reguard. The only thing I couldn't figure out for Russell was in the fourth quarter when they were down by 8-12 pts they continued to hold the ball and pass it around for long stretches of time instead of trying to get a quick shot up to try and catch up. There wasn't a sense of urgency until the clock got down to 2 minutes or so. Now this may have been due to them not getting the shot they wanted and waiting for that, but I would have liked to see them shooting at their first opportunity more in the fourth quarter. Probably just inexperience.

For Boyd, Wes Steele had a really good game. He was all over the floor and scored some from inside and out. Boyd did a great job of finding the open man on fast breaks when they had the opportunity. It was really the difference in the game.

Congratulations to the Lions. Hey B'grass Will any pictures?

Congrats to the Lions...Not very many pts scored against Russell, but that was partly to Russell slowing down the game as well.

Good luck to Russell on the rebuilding year.

Boyd and Russell are both really taking some criticism this year, but these are two schools that have been very powerful in 16th Region history and will rebound eventually. The main thing is that the players they both have are still playing hard, even though they are outmanned night after night.

This one is Russell's Jacob Ferguson blocking a shot of BC's C.D. Mayhew.
