These young kids are bribed with many things by full grown adults such as a starting spot, number of shots, and many many more. Majority of the time, these things never hold up. Also other factors such as coaches and supporting staff leaving.

I believe that with voting fatigue, and recent comments made on "voter racism" that there is no way Jokic wins the MVP this year. Don't get me wrong, he could very well earn it, but I do not see any possibility that he actually wins it. Voter fatigue started with Lebron at Miami, where he was by far the best player in the world every single year, but one very seldom MVP's. He became so good in his own way that we became bored of watching it. Kind of the same with Jokic, he is a point-center, and we become bored watching him play. I won't get into my other point made, but JJ Reddick put the nail in the coffin on that one, that's all I am going to say. While saying that, I don't see Adam Silver letting Jokic win his 3rd straight, just so that he can avoid these conversations.

This could be a factor, along with Newport getting recent experience in a college arena (9th Region Tournament is played at NKU). So, I think they will equal themselves out and may the best team win.

Does anyone know where Lyon County played their regional tournament? Just curious if it was on a college floor and arena or not. Newport played in NKU, and normally this benefits teams that already have a few games under their belt on the bigger floor, and much larger arena.

Well, I got in a rush to get this posted and somehow forgot to insert the times and such. This game will tip-off this years Sweet 16. It will be played Wednesday (3/15) morning at 11:00 am. Obviously, game will be played at Rupp Arena.
