Having Campbell from Western Hills is a joke. Watching Western Hills in person 3x and if it wasn’t for the size you wouldn’t even know he’s on the field.

Can’t speak for the EKY or NKY side but Who would you feel like from Lexington area deserved a spot. Douglas was the best in the city and they was way down in terms of talent and guys who produce other then Avion who really didn’t get his touches like he should. Bryan Station only had Jaws who really showed anything and there was plenty of RBs in state who produced over him. Franklin County was more so a great team compared to one great player or players. Scott county, Great crossing, Madison Central was solid teams as well but in this area wasn’t a lot of star players you could point out that deserved a all-state nod other then Brock and Penning, maybe Slayball at LB from Sayre.

Was this around the time Highlands went after Eddie James from Franklin County?

Have watched him the last 2 years at Douglas. Great team player and He can affect the game in many ways with a high motor. Don’t find many like him anymore who’s not taking plays off.

What happen to him? He’s a big factor for them in having another guard to run the offense

Like watching Melo Boone and Omari Jointer play with energy they do every game. Wish got see this one.

Same thing happened when saw them play multiple times last year. Have too many guys that played selfish and found them down a lot games you wouldn’t think they should be. Nobody else had a 7ft but the kid mostly got his out the mud. The coach for GC needs to step up in a major way this season.

Great Crossing Offense will be reason for them not winning State.

Not at all. To most in the community it feels like Fayette Co is ok with it because they wanted to have a public school that can actually compete in Football. Rather that’s true or not nothing has happen since FD has been built to control the movement of kids. What’s even more crazy is there hasn’t been any talk or word of Carter G ever getting its own school built.

Fredrick Douglas is what happened. They have a program/school called Carter G that's inside of FD that is good for education purposes but it allows guys to go to Carter G and have the option to play for FD or the school in your living District. Also once FD was finally built Lexington redid the district zone. Dunbar, Henry Clay, and Lafayette all have suffered from this either in Basketball or football if not both.

Congratulations Bowling Green! This run since 2011 BG has been on doesn’t get enough credit or praise. Love this for Deuce Bailey kid is too nice but flys under the radar.

Congratulations Trinity. Saw them play Fredrick Douglas early this year and was amazed by how disciplined and poised they played no matter what was happening which is rare in high school sports. Not surprised by a repeat. Crazy thing is Trinity brings most this team back with back to back championship experience.

Would like see it. The style on offense looks too much fun to be apart of. Looking forward to that sophomore rising JR class Yal have.

Could we see more star or talented players in the City coming to CAL these next few years? Know already a lot coming back but wonder if guys would want come there now to have a shot winning championships instead staying in the 6a

Surprised by that. I thought the QB was going to get it he made some impressive throws. Especially to keep some drives alive on 3rd downs.

Really impressed with Carter looking forward to him at UK next year. PTs qb and offense was as good as advertised. FC too many costly mistakes. They never gave up but too many penalties hurt them in the long run. That slip and fall for that wide open TD will haunt the East Side of Frankfort for a long time. Congrats PT on the championship!

Thought that TD celebration Coffman had was about comeback and bite him. Had a costly PI one drive on defense and an ugly punt that set up Raceland nicely for that last drive. The way Raceland was running the ball was setting them up nicely for a win. Can’t believe they decided to throw it smh. Really good game by both teams. Big congrats to Sayre!

Not sure why Fredrick Douglas is ranked so high. 3 of there top 4 players are gone.

That’s crazy to even think with that kind of young talent and no telling who else will come CAL could possibly win another 2-3 championships in a row.
