    St. X starts KOB Tournament Wed vs. Lloyd Memorial. Great Crossing travels to play Christopher Columbus (FL) on 12/18.

    He's been decent 3 shooter for a big but tonight he just got hot and basket looked wide as the ocean.

    An emphatic win for St. X, who will likely ascend to the top of the polls.

    The Tigers are very good and Crossing was probably a little spent after battles with Douglass and CovCath the previous two nights.

    I don't know if X has any superstars, but they project a selfless, team oriented game that can overcome an opponent like the Warhawks. They were fun to watch when I got the opportunity to see them last season. This is basically the same team they had a year ago and obviously a top state contender this season.

    Wow Great Crossing gets the Boozer brothers and Ej Walker & company gets the hottest team in the state for their opener of KOB.

    Fun game and great atmosphere! St. X can go 10 deep and when they're shooting like they were tonight they become very tough to beat. Great Crossing did a great job of getting second chance points and that is what really kept them in the game as the struggled with their shooting tonight.

    X controlled throughout. GC’s offense consisted mostly of put backs from Moreno. Other than that there wasn’t a whole lot of consistent offense.

    Very nice statement made by X.  Pretty well handled GC.  But it's also GC's fourth game in five days.  Pretty tough sledding for them.
