  1. @DevilMayCare Great write up! Anyone know what the '24 schedule looks like for Boyle?
  2. Cov Cath could portal for Peyton Manning and it wouldn't matter this year. That's not a knock against the Colonels but a testament to how strong Boyle will be be.
  3. It's definitely a narrative driven award. I think Lamar should win it this year. I think if you take him off the Ravens, that team is much worse. If the Dolphins or 49ers lost their starting QB they could probably weather that storm better.
  4. Boyle has quite a bit coming back including Dawson and Quisenbery. Corbin has their QB back I think but lost the Smith Twins. I think Cov Cath lost several big contributors, but I could be wrong. I have no idea about Paducah or Franklin.
  5. Right now the favorite seems to be Lamar Jackson. A week ago it was Brock Purdy and the week before it was Dak Prescott. Lamar's definitely had a good year and better than most people imagined but it still feels like his year hasn't been special. If there was ever a year for a non-QB to win it, it should be this year. We have good candidates like Tyreek Hill and Christian McCaffrey, but I don't think it's possible for the MVP to be anyone other than a QB.
  6. I too think we have a chance to win this game, I couldn't believe the spread had us as 7 point dogs. KC hasn't looked good all year and if any team has had the Chiefs' number these last few years, it's been us.
  7. I saw this score and thought I misclicked and ended up in the Football Forums.
  8. I will be the first to admit that I was leading the fire Zac Taylor movement, but I have moved off of that after the last few weeks. Sometimes the game just gets away fast, that's what happened tonight. Let's look on to KC and remember that we have a backup QB leading this team and hope for the best.
  9. *One of the only ones................................................................................................................................................... Happy now?
  10. That's a good point, I hope those things help introduce some more parity in college football. As far as comparing resumes with the Sabans, Bryants, etc Smart will need at least 3-4 more championships to realistically be in that conversation and maybe even 6 or so to overtake them. I think that even one Super Bowl would effectively end that conversation. Someone earlier asked about his motivation for potentially leaving Georgia and this is the only reason I could think of. He's not going to make significantly more money or spend less time coaching in the NFL. If I was going to leave Georgia it sure wouldn't be for the Falcons, I'd be looking for a good QB situation, like the Chargers. Ultimately though, I don't think he will leave. He's got the most resources in all of football right now and that won't be changing anytime soon.
  11. Honestly no. I think that puts him in the same discussion as Saban. If he wants to prove beyond a doubt that he's the greatest coach of all time, then I think he'll need to do something that no one else could, win at both the professional and collegiate levels.
  12. Clout. What if he was able to succeed in the NFL and college? He'd really be the only one to ever do that. That's probably the only way to cement his legacy ahead of Saban.
  13. Good Lord, he made one comment immediately after the game and has since apologized for it, which he absolutely did not have to do. Want to talk about class? Honing up to a mistake and taking responsibility for it, that's pretty classy. Meanwhile, George Pickens doesn't want to block for his own teammates because he doesn't want to get hurt. That sounds pretty narcissistic and classless. Pickens Article
  14. Not so fast. Taylor said today they aren't ready to officially rule him out.
  15. Depends on who they draw. They could draw the Jags again and we know we can beat them.
  16. What jobs would those be? NKY competing in 6A kind of feels like a pipe dream.
  17. Seriously bro, cigars?! Like they didn't lose 3-0 the week before.
  18. Kind of sounds like a certain basketball coach. Lots of talent no doubt about that...
  19. I actually love this. This "story" feels like it got a little too much attention. Was it insensitive and a little off-putting? Absolutely. Was it worth being a story on KSR? Absolutely not.
  20. We didn't really get to see Jefferson the last time the Vikings came to Cincinnati, I'm glad he will be on the field this time.
  21. No but that would have been more fair and funny.
  22. Yeah it wasn't a very popular policy if you could imagine.
  23. When I played in HS it resulted in extra conditioning for the first offense and loss of playing time after that.
