Dixie had them stopped on that first drive and let them score on a 4th and 10. The other TD they gave up looked like a blown coverage. Dixie has definitely turned it on since being down 14. Beechwood really needs to come out here and put together some points to open the 2nd half.

I won't pretend to be an expert on Dixie's recent years, but this team looks very average to me. They've been talked up a lot on this site this summer, and I just don't see it. As I typed that out, Dixie broke a 90ish yard TD so maybe just ignore me ?

Without those kids they are still probably winning this game. Maybe not #1 in 4A, but still plenty good enough to beat the Ads in 2023.

I can't believe that's been up for 5 hours and hasn't got a single reply. Rebels are too big, fast, skilled, well-coached for this game to be even a little competitive.

Even if you factor those two rushes out and remove 125 yards. That still comes out to be about 4 yards per carry. I'm not sure that's the standard either team would be happy with on defense.

Distance? What are they, like an hour and a half, two hours away? It's not like this is going from Pikeville to Paducah. If this distance was prohibitive on a day's notice, then why schedule the game in the first place?

It's a good thought, but the idea of 4A not going to Boyle or Corbin is hard to imagine.

They did come out and play better in the second half, and Dixie really took their foot off the gas. I think you said it earlier, that DH seemed to think the game ended at halftime. Aba Selm was a monster at the LOS (both sides of the ball) and that was a big X-factor for SK.

That's so interesting. They seemed to have a lot of success throwing the ball last week. Especially if they would have caught all those wide open passes. I wonder why they would lean so heavily in the other direction.
