I’m not sure about that. If a team jumps out early on MNH it will force them out of their run heavy element. I don’t see MNH running the ball on BG or keeping pace with O’s offense but I could wrong. On the west side of KY I think it’s an OHS and BG race.

Pulling for Graves.

BG proves they’re still a big threat for the state title. Gained a lot of respect tonight even in a loss. Their defense is good enough to keep them in pretty much any game they play

I said earlier in the week if the pressure doesn’t get to Ganaway he would pick them apart. He has to have 70% or better pass completion.

Devils have to gain 200 plus yards on every possession just to score. The Devils need to clean this up.

It’s beat down or bust. No reason this game should be close if the Devils intend to be taken seriously for a State Title run.

This is exactly my thought process on the game. Will look similar to the Apollo and Murray game.

How when we have more wins in the series?

Every time Apollo gets spanked by another team. It’s always that team would run circles around Owensboro?. This game is O’s to lose. If we win it’s regular scheduled programming, if y’all win it’ll be like yall won the Super Bowl.

Murray’s Dline couldn’t have been that good if Apollo scored 30 plus points. They didn’t even score that much against OC. Even if Apollo can score. How do they intend to slow down the Red Devil offense when teams are averaging 32points a game on them? Even Muhlenberg scored 21 points against the Eagles. I’d like to think the Red Devil offense is way more explosive than the Mustangs with way more athletes. Coach Edge will probably try to just play keep away and eat the clock.

Same was said before they played Manual. I think their run defense is good enough to make it interesting with St. X.

As good as Hampton is I don’t think he makes or breaks this Devils team. Insert #2 or #3 RB in for the Devils and I believe we have the same level of success on offense. Evan Hampton isn’t used by the Devils like most Mr Football candidates are used by their teams. He doesn’t play defense at all and he’s rarely targeted for passes. They just hand it off to him behind a decent(but progressing) Oline. His production outside of the OC game hasn’t been much to talk about.

I don’t think the Eagles can bring the type of pressure that can rattle Ganaway Jr at QB. If he’s given just a little bit of time he will pick the defense apart. I do think Apollo will move the ball a little bit on offense. Just not enough to keep pace with the Devils. Devils 56 Apollo 21 ( a score or 2 being on the JV)

Graves has a decent run defense so if the Maroons are strictly run that should help in Graves favor but the Maroons are too much for a rebuilding Eagles squad. Give me the Maroons by 30+

I’m starting to think PT isn’t the same caliber team they were last year. Beat by MNH and FS kept it relatively close, Mayfield put up 30 against them. … That O vs MNH should be the game of the week in western KY when they meet. Should be a good 1.
