How many players does CCH have going both ways?

So do we talk about how many penalties CCH had? Or the bad play was at the line? Or how Harney was worn our from playing both ways? Or how bad special teams continue to be? Or the defensive secondary looking bad? Or the same milquetost offensive play calling? So many coices.

That was one of the sloppier halves of football in recent memory for CCH.

How many times will Coach Shelton let Weitzel kick freakin kickoffs out of bounds before he puts in someone who won't do that?

IMHO the game tonight is Ryle's best shot at beating CCH in recent memory. CCH is in rebuilding mode and needs the season to gel before trying to make things happen in the playoffs.

I got a brief text about it: "Teams swapped 10 plays each way. Cru played what looked like a full scrimmage of JV. CCH switched between JV squad and Fresh squad against Cru's JV. CCH played like 5 different QB's between JV and Fresh, and team scored a whole bunch. St. Henry had trouble moving the ball and scored 1. CCH had 2TD's on turnovers."

Anyone attending the scrimmage this morning?

Casson was a DB, WR, and I believe RB last year as well on the CCH frosh team and definitely isn't 6ft tall. He was good but oftentimes was playing behind second fiddle to guys like Cogswell and Unkraut.

Casson was on CCH's frosh team last year wasn't he? Didn't know he was a Crusader now.

That explains why he wasn't in the Conner 7v7. Hopefully it's not too bad of a sprain. Those can linger. Gaiser was a big part of the D last year.

Urti has a stronger leg than Weitzel. I'd be very surprised if we don't see Urti at least handling kickoff duties.

Anyone know how the 7v7 went yesterday against Conner? I got some texts from a Conner friend who said there were only two QB's that competed from CCH. He was pretty sure it was Cash Harney & Emmett Queen. Said Queen threw some absolute dimes.

To be more direct, there are zero special "pay structures" arranged for any coaches beyond their normal bump in wages for being a coach. You don't know what you're talking about.

Jason Booher's wage as supt in Mercer Co. is listed publicly by the KY Dept of Ed. He was making $151K this past school year. No way CCH can touch that kind of money. As for the question asked about religious beliefs, no, it is not a requirement. Lynn Ray was not Catholic. Coach Krumps was raised Catholic but doesn't really practice. I'm not sure whether or not John Rodenberg or Dave Brossart were Catholic. Catholicism is probably ideal for a candidate, but isn't required.

Lord Varys' little birds have gotten info that Baci interviewed Sully. There's an issue with Sully's public school retirement at play. CCH would have to find a way to compensate him for whatever he'd lose making the jump from public to private. Add in the news about Coach Yeagle passing and this is all giving me flashbacks of Yeagle and Rash shaking hands on Beechwood's football field in 2006 with Yeagle wearing a Juggs hat.

This is worlds better than the hackjob rebrand we paid for at CCH about a decade back. Unfortunate for us they've stuck we the C+ and the weird squinty colonel, aka Lieutenant Colonel Blindy McBurnside. Fortunate for NCC they were intelligent enough to use a different design firm for their rebrand.
