I do find it amazing that SK hasn't been to state since they switched over to the 8th. I for one think they had 5 or 6 years where they may have had the most talent in the 8th. SK is the largest school in the 8th and the closes one is Oldham County and they have nearly 200 less students. But I guess you could argue the same thing with Ryle in the 9th.

I'm pretty sure it will not be as close as it has been in years past.

I'm still not seeing how you keep dropping Highlands. They're 16-1! That loss was to Conner at Conner. They're no worse than 3 in the Region and yes that is even with St. Henry's run to the All-A. 1. Cov Cath 2. Conner 3. Highlands 4. St. Henry 5. Beechwood 6. Holy Cross 7. NCC The rest is a crap shoot at this point.

Without a question...no. I have watched a few Collins games and they tend to lose focus. Gaither will have them ready come Region. Best three teams are still Collins, Oldham County, and South Oldham. I think when SK visits Oldham and hosts Woodford you will see what their true chances are.

It's a lot easier to watch the grind it out style when you have kids that shoot very well from the field and you play from the lead. This Cooper team just doesn't have kids who can score like they've had in the past which makes the 1/2 court game harder.

Well you did state you’d be surprised. Also, NCC didn’t beat Holy Cross.

GRC is the favorite to win the 10th. I think if they play their A game they win every game by 10+ in the region tournament.

Don't feel too bad. They've had their fair share of kids who chose Scott over other high schools. You have to remember Meyer was an 8th grader last year so calling him a "transfer" is wrong.

Well just looking at the 9th Region, the average free throw percentage for the 19 teams who have stats is 61.5%. Holy Cross ranks 9th which is in the top 1/2 of the region at 66.1%. Not terrible, not great.

Even without Fleming, Male has the most talent. Surprised they have 5 losses already.

Lots of open shots and layups missed by HC. Faust does a great job with St. Henry. Think they’ll win the 9th and possibly state.
