Per game update thread. Big win for Ballard. Howard Fleming will return for Male and make for interesting possible rematch between these teams in 7th region tourney.

So true, T-pride. I've heard that Fleming might be able to come back for the regular season game between them at Male on January 31.

Even without Fleming, Male has the most talent. Surprised they have 5 losses already.

They are lazy on defense, no surprise on this loss.

Ballard did a tremendous job on the defensive end, including doing a great job of keeping the ball out of Tyren Moore's hands. Ballard was called for a lot of fouls, but the Bruins have the depth to handle that situation. Maker Bar is a quality big man, and Ballard's freshmen backcourt played well. I hope Howard Fleming is back for the rematch on January 31. Male is really good without him, but getting him back will be a big plus. Will no doubt be another entertaining game between two of the top teams in the state (maybe the top two?).

I would go with the Ballard coaching staff any day of the week over their counterparts at Male.
