What goes into the RPI recalibration process if teams forfeit playoff games?

There weren’t many games played this week so I would imagine it’s all been calculated by now.

I don’t understand the reasoning here.

Just what Russell needed before the playoffs. Both teams will be playing in their district title games!

West Carter will not be playing.

Are both counties red?

I think NCC wins a close one.

Hold him out and lose 3 straight games headed into the playoffs? I’m not sure I would do that. I understand the post season is the big picture but at the end of the day Ashland is beating Russell.

Will Conley be playing?

Wear Carter will not be playing this week.

Even with Paintsville as banged up as they are, I think they’d beat Breathitt County by 4 scores.

This is a game I can see going either way. Conley left the WC game late. If he plays, Russell by 3. If he doesn’t, Raceland by 2.

Beating Russell at Russell is a better win than beating Wayne County at home in my opinion.

Somerset beat Danville down (no shame in that). LCA beat Danville at Danville by 4 without Xavier Brown. Drew Nieves also only played the 2nd half against Danville.

The Paintsville team Raceland beat is not the same team West Carter played. West Carter also went to Paintsville and Raceland played Paintsville at home. Big difference there. Paintsville was missing big players whenever they played Raceland and LCC.

After the embarrassing loss to PCC, I bet the Bobcats find a way out of that Paintsville game.

I would argue West Carter.

Just curious, why is Danville ranked so highly? They are definitely a top 10 team but I’m not sure about top 5. I don’t know much about Danville this year so I’m honestly just wondering if I’m missing something.

This is exactly why Breathitt should not be a top 10 in team 2A.

Beechwood is definitely #2.

Very impressive game from WC. They were extremely clutch to end this game. Big RPI points and history made at Henry R Evans! Cline went for over 100 on the ground and had a pick 6. He was the best player on the field tonight. Russell is a very good football team. This was the big win WC needed.

This is going to be an incredible football game. I think LCA wins. Thankful the football gods gave us this matchup!
