  1. Meade has had QB issues all season. 1 TD pass and 13 interceptions. If Meade had gotten any production at all out of the QB position they would be 4-1.
  2. I believe Boyle County leads the state in scoring.
  3. Meade had to play the game with their 3rd and 4th string QB. Meade was also missing their 6-4 WR. Apollo loaded the box and basically sent 10 every play. Meade couldn’t/wouldn’t throw the ball. Oppel still had 189 yards and 3 td’s running against 10 in the box. Meade also had 7 turnovers. Meade has to find a way to get the ball to their talented receivers or it’s going to be a long season. Congrats to Apollo. They have some talented skill players.
  4. 200 yards in penalties. Turnovers. Meade played as bad as they could and John Hardin played well.
  5. I’ve been around High school football a long time and this is one of the most surprising upsets I’ve seen. Final John Hardin 28 Meade Co 20 Literally no words.
  6. 1st qtr JJ Richardson catches a leaping 30 yard touchdown pass over 2 defenders. Meade Co 7 John Hardin 0
  7. Are you going to post live updates Hardin County Preps?
  8. Central is athletic and pretty big up front but very average on offense. Mucker is just about their whole offense. St X. 28 Central 7
  9. Meade County vs John Hardin has been pushed back to 8pm as well.
  10. In 2 games, Meade County's Austin Oppel has rushed for 454 yards (227 ypg) and 8 TD's on 44 carries (10.3 ypc) Oppel also has caught 6 passes for 78 yards.
  11. :walk: Ok bud. Good luck vs Etown.
  12. 2015 through 2018 has NOTHING to do with this year. Central Hardin is really good this year. But they've beaten no one at all. Meade has a really good win at Franklin-Simpson and PRP is better than anyone Central Hardin has played.
  13. Desales has a new kid playing safety now. 6-3 athletic kid. Really nice player. He didn’t play vs St. X. That will help but they are still kind of soft at corner.
  14. Haha. Because this is a message board and these are the kind of things that are discussed.
  15. Meade County has 2 wins better than any of Central’s 3 wins. Why do most have Central ranked so much higher? Both had bad records last year (even though last year shouldn’t matter). Thoughts?
  16. That's what i figured, lol. Quick breakdown on P.R.P. 1st off, you guys should handle them pretty easily. They do have some athletes though. RB #9 runs REALLY hard. WR #14 is a 4.4 or 4.5 guy with some skill. And the QB is really talented. Very strong arm. Good luck!
  17. Meade County looks to improve to 3-0 while John Hardin is looking for it's 1st win of the season. Meade's Junior RB Austin Oppel comes into the game leading the State (6A) in rushing (227 ypg) and 8 Td's. Meade Co's defense is led by 6-2 corner J.J. Richardson (2 interceptions). John Hardin is led in rushing by RB Darian Camery at 52 ypg.
  18. Austin Oppel (JR) Meade Co. 2 games played: 44 carries 454 yards 8 Td's (Averaging 227 yards per game) 6 receptions 78 yards He's put those stats up vs a really good Franklin-Simpson and an athletic 6A team, PRP.
  19. My guy, Bryce Yates! He's a great player and a great kid. He definitely deserves to be listed.
  20. You heard correctly. That kid on a good team could be a beast. He threw a ball 60 yards off of his back foot.
  21. JJ Richardson, a 6-2 Jr from Meade Co., had 2 interceptions this past Friday.
