  1. PRP scored their last Touchdown against Meade’s JV. Meade’s JV took a knee at the 1 yd line so the score could have been much different. I know these kind of things happen in a lot of games. (I just wanted to note it.)
  2. PRP has some nice skill kids. WR #14 Gant can fly, RB #9 is quick and runs hard and the QB has a ton of talent. I think they are thin up front. They were just a little better than I thought they would be.
  3. Austin Oppel 28-309 yds 2 receptions-32 yds 341 total yds
  4. Austin Oppel had almost 400 total yards. JJ Richardson had 2 interceptions.
  5. I’m glad you posted this. I’ll be honest, I almost rolled my eyes when you posted before because it seemed like you were over the top in your allegiance to Central Hardin. But I agree with almost everything in this post. North SHOULD be the favorite. But I also think Meade and Central can win the district. Gavin and Deonco are very talented and getting Elmore back probably gives Central the best QB of the bunch. Oppel, to me, is the best of all the skill players for all 3 teams. But like I said, all 3 of these teams are top 10 worthy in my opinion.
  6. Also, it doesn't mean either of the teams are intentionally "padding" their stats. When you are watching film you could not catch that a long run was called back because of a penalty or something like that.
  7. What are your thoughts on Meade this year? Will they be able to challenge for the district title?
  8. Speaking of turf fields, Meade Co. is getting one and will be playing on it NEXT season.
  9. Franklin-Simpson HS - Austin Oppel highlights - Hudl Austin Oppel Highlights vs Franklin-Simpson
  10. What video did you watch ATLCat? If it was the Hudl video someone posted that is from last year. I haven't seen any video posted from the Franklin-Simpson game. You're correct, his size will keep a lot of D1 coaches from offering him although he already has a few MAC schools very interested. He's visited UK and UL several times though. He's a VERY powerful runner. It's amazing for his size how strong he is. I believe he squatted over 500 lbs as a sophomore. He blocks very well too. He was laser timed at 4.53 so he's got the speed.
  11. Official stats from KHSAA website: 16 carries 145 yd's 3 TD's 4 receptions 46 yd's
  12. That RB for Doss is REALLY good, but yes, PRP's defense is in trouble. They are very small. PRP is really loose with the ball and Meade has some really nice kids in the secondary. Look for #20 Richardson and #3 Burnett to get a pick or two. #5 Oppel will have himself a day as well.
  13. I wouldn’t put too much into a JV game. Meade plays PRP this Friday so I can't make the Central Hardin game. Although I think all 3 teams are close, I’d rank them North, Meade, Central right now. I think all 3 are top 10 6A teams. I’d drop Ballard, Fern Creek and Butler.
  14. Butler at 0-2 and being blown out by Desales should drop them from the top 10.
  15. I’d have them at 4. They are really good. They have athletes everywhere and one of the top RB’s in the state.
  16. Those mentioned plus: Darius Brown-Manual JJ Richardson-Meade Co Gavin George-Central Hardin
