  1. Franklin-Simpson is REALLY good. I’ve seen Louisville Central, Manual and Franklin-Simpson all live this year and I think Franklin-Simpson is the best of the bunch. I wouldn’t worry too much about Franklin-Simpson.
  2. 17 carries 121 yds 3 Td’s Haven’t seen his receiving yards yet but I know he had a few catches and one was for 15-20 yds.
  3. This was a fun game. FS is as good as I thought they were. Both teams had backup centers playing and you could definitely tell, especially Meade’s. Meade actually went to their 3rd string center at halftime. As a Meade fan I’m thrilled to walk away with a win. Meade has ran the Wing T for 30 years and this was game 1 in our new offense. I haven’t seen the stats yet but I’m pretty sure we out gained FS.
  4. I just watched the film of this game. #5 for Doss (Dalion Young RB) is one of the top 2-3 RB’s in Louisville. It’s a shame he’s not on a better team. That kid can play.
  5. It sounds like Meaty had himself a game.
  6. Franklin-Simpson has 54 yards rushing and 22 yards passing at the half.
  7. Oppel has 8 carries 95 yds 1 TD. At least 3 times he was hit in the backfield after and bad snap.
  8. Really even 1st half. Meade is REALLY killing itself with bad snaps. They are using their backup center but he’s got to step up and get the ball back to the QB. Meade can move the ball if they eliminate the bad snaps. Franklin-Simpson seems to be a little more physical.
  9. To be fair, it was 59 degrees yesterday morning.
  10. I agree. We are at least to "heat in the morning, AC in the afternoon" though.
  11. Austin Oppel. He had over 1,900 yds and 19 Td's last season, playing in Indiana's largest class.
  12. Thanks for taking the time to watch the video Purple88. I can't wait for the game tonight.
  13. Yeah, I'm not being critical of the rankings. I think they are pretty good. I'm just stating what I would change about them. Meade returns their whole team and adds maybe the best player in Kentucky. Central Hardin brings back most of their skill guys and battled through some of the worst injury problems that I've seen a team deal with last year. Also, I don't think Jeffersonville or Doss have very good teams this year. I know Doss is down for sure.
  14. I know all four rosters very well. I've coached players at Ballard and at Meade and Meade plays Central Hardin every year.
  15. Haha, I know you did Tiger. I appreciate it. I just kinda wanted to be on record.
  16. Meade Co freshman played Butler and Desales last year. They were two of the few teams that we played that had actual freshman only teams. I think they both had at least 30 kids last year. We beat both. Butler was pretty good. Desales was down.
  17. Since NO ONE is talking about this kid (except me) I just wanted to start a thread in his honor before the game tonight. Prediction: Oppel 200 yds rushing and 3 Td's vs Franklin Simpson
  18. I think North Hardin could be added to the top 5 (for now). Meade and Central Hardin are better than Fern Creek and Ballard in my opinion. But the last 5-7 teams are all pretty close. Your list is easily the best I’ve seen.
  19. FYI, I live in Meade Co and i'm closer to Louisville than North Hardin is.
  20. Thanks for the info. Our district is really tough this year. I'm looking for a game somewhere that doesn't keep me up at nights.
