  1. Desales leads 3-0 with 52 seconds left in the half. Meade Co Is driving.
  2. I think he’s a sophomore. And yes, the backup was available. The backup is actually really good and was the starter earlier this season.
  3. Ballard’s starting Varsity QB started at QB for the JV vs St X.
  4. I don’t know the reason. I suspect it was to have the best chance to win the game. They played multiple varsity starters. They played varsity starters all year long on JV.
  5. Ballard actually played an Allstate linebacker in JV this season.
  6. Thx. I’ve been posting, just not as much.
  7. I've seen Manual, Louisville Central, North Hardin, Central Hardin and Butler all live this year. Central Hardin and North Hardin are much better than the other 3 teams I mentioned. (I know Lou. Central is 4A) I'd rank them : 1 Central Hardin 2 North Hardin 3 Manual 4 Butler 5 Central
  8. Having 6-4 George at CB and 6-4 (or 6-5) Elmore at safety is a nightmare. With Wilkerson playing I'd pick Central but if he doesn't play, North can beat them.
  9. I've seen both teams up close. North Hardin is much better on defense but Central has so many weapons on offense. I'll give the edge to Central Hardin. I don't see how this one isn't close. Central Hardin 28 North Hardin 20
  10. He’ll have probably the tallest corner he’s seen all year on him most of the game tomorrow I’d assume.
  11. I’m anxious to see how we do against George. I think he deserves region player of the year so far.
  12. I'm interested to see if Central Hardin can run the ball Friday. Meade Co. has struggled vs the pass this season, but in it's last 2 games has held North Hardin and ETown to a total of 50 carries for 94 yards. North Hardin and Etown feature 2 of the best RB's in the state in Lavell Wright and Joe Becherer. Wright had 41 yards and Becherer had 23.
  13. I watched Butler vs Central Hardin and Butler just seems lost out there. Burks has a great arm and there's talent everywhere on that team but they just seem like they don't play as a team. Watkins only got the ball a couple times that game too. St X 35 Butler 14
  14. Here's a cool pic from the game last year. My son and Wilkerson going up for a jump ball.
  15. That would hurt but as you know they are very deep at RB. It would probably hurt their passing game more than the running game.
  16. Meade's safety ran for 163 yards and their WR was their punter. They are just plugging kids in anywhere they can. Tons of injuries. Still not getting ANYTHING out of the passing game. Meade's defense really stepped up and shut down Etown's running game. Etown had 30 carries for 64 yards. I'm interested to see how the Central RB's do.
  17. Meade has started 5 different QB’s due to injuries this season. Now Meade has injuries to it’s 1st and 2nd string RB’s. When you struggle at QB it’s very tough to compete with the schedule Meade plays. Meade’s QB’s have something like 2 TD’s and 18 interceptions this season. Meade has given up at least 10 defensive td’s. Look at Central Hardin last year. They ended up playing their 5th string QB and went 3-8.
  18. Manual is a very Junior heavy team.
  19. You know what’s funny? #87 is a senior but he was only 16 at the beginning of the school year. I coached him in youth league for years. He’s a great kid.
