  1. 61-51 JH at the line. 30 seconds left. Looks like the Bulldogs are headed back to Rupp
  2. At the half John Hardin up 36-22. No region player of the year Tre Smith for TC.
  3. All year long all I’ve heard is how Scott County was this clear number one team. Well maybe they’re not so clear cut. Win and advance yeah, but this is not clear cut and dominate.
  4. Well oiled machine. People ya'll are sleeping on John Hardin. Sometimes the right mixture just makes you special.
  5. No surprise here really. Central hasn’t looked good lately. Congrats to TC as they win and advance
  6. If you can't handle ball pressure and rebound on the defensive end; then you have no chance against John. Matthews and Harris feast on offensive rebounds and put backs. Matthews had 26 points in the district champ game; 21 of them came on layups and put-backs.
  7. I'm taking Taylor County as well. Central just looks a bit out of whack right now. John didn't even play a good game on Friday and Central still couldn't take advantage of it.
  8. Yeah, I just don’t think Central can get it done. It’ll be either John or Larue. I know the Dawgs feel a bit disrespected by a lot of Larue County picks.
  9. He is killing it. Congrats to him and his family.
  10. I think JH could beat a lot of teams in the top 20. Whether they are the 2nd best team in the state is debatable, but my stance on this all year long is if they are not then who is?
  11. @Sportslover32 do you think the field has closed the gap on John Hardin. How do you see the Region tourney going?
  12. Bardstown kept it close for a half but John Hardin imposed their will on the Tigers. The constant pressure from John Hardin was too much. Alex Matthews won't win the Region player of the year award; but there are few in the region that is better than him. There is a collection of athletes at John Hardin that will be a formidable foe for anyone in the state.
  13. I've been trying to figure this out all year. If not John Hardin then who is number two. John can play with anybody. The hesitance is because they don't really have that star guy; but I think that's what makes them the good team that they are.
  14. They are very talented; but the 4 people you've named need the floor and the paint more to the point, to be open. They lack consistent outside shooting to spread the floor. I agree that they are playing bad right now; but they are missing the consistent shooting that they had last year.
  15. John Hardin I think had their most impressive win of the season. I don't think there should be any doubt that they are indeed the number 2 team in the state. Of course anything can happen; but I fully expect them to win the region again and make a trip to Rupp at seasons end.
  16. John Hardin is a very good team. They are the 2nd best team in the state and well equipped to make a deep run at Rupp.
  17. I understand. They just have a knack for rising to their competition. They've already beaten all the top teams in the 5th region. The draw as we see is very favorable for them if they make it to Rupp; so they are primed to make a final 4 appearance.
  18. John Hardin is a tough out. I don't know if they have any one special individual. But collectively they are difficult to deal with. They will be hard to beat come tournament time.
  19. Larue has no guard play and we all know how important that is. They were given a pass this season because of last year's team which is essentially everyone returning EXCEPT the PG King who was vital to everything they did last year.
  20. Possibly, but this was more of a testimony for them as they continue to win; regardless of the situation.
  21. I understand, but the object is to win the game. Another point is that the state as a whole might be down a bit
