Duke 77 UCF 76 (NCAA Tournament Round 2)
bamaboy89 replied to 16thBBall Fan's topic in College Basketball
Duke does have flaws, no one is unbeatable. I bet Duke’s coaching staff would tell you that. Tacko Falls guarded Tre Jones a majority of the second half and just sat in the paint waiting on the ball. Jones has to play better, he is the reason that the floor can’t open up for Barrett. -

He and Delaurier were in foul trouble the entire game. Huge shot though. -

Nobody swallowed their whistles. UCF got calls all night long. It was a good game and Duke made enough plays to win the game at the end. -

It’s about me getting roasted yesterday saying UK was fortunate to get the win against Wofford. I’m always nice, nothing I say is meant in mean spirit -

Fall spent a lot of this game coming over someone’s back. And for the love of God would someone please call travel on the point guard. -

Free throws: UCF 12-20 Duke 7-12. Looks like Duke was getting all the calls here. -

See how easy this is Kentucky fans: Duke was very fortunate to win today. It’s not hard to say. -
Kentucky 62 Wofford 56 (NCAA Tournament Round 2)

Kentucky was fortunate to win the game(I feel that’s a legit statement). Reid Travis was fortunate to get that foul call at the end of the game(I think that’s legit as well). In the end, you survive and advance and that’s what they did. -

Survive and advance. I think they were fortunate to get the win. Reid is getting the benefit of the doubt right now. He is initiating a lot of contact and fortunately for him today he got the call. -

Kentucky was extremely fortunate to win this game. I thought Reid got a very favorable foul call at the end. Not to mention a couple of missed layups from Wofford. -
Me either. That just doesn't appear to be a good fit.

Murray State 83 Marquette 64 (NCAA Tournament Round 1)

Seriously? By far. I mean Zion is pretty entertaining as well, but I get your point. -
It's being reported that they are mutually parting ways. Essentially he's being fired though.

Belmont got huge contributions from their bigs inside against Temple. I don't think they have that type of success against the bigs from Maryland. Should be a good game, but I think Maryland pulls this one out.

He has so much potential though. I hope he continues to improve.

My few years in the state of Kentucky has shown me that high school basketball does not embrace/welcome change very often.

To me, it's the worst play in basketball. I will never understand how this is even allowed in the game. My son's wrist still bothers him from time to time from a kid sliding under him while he was in the air. The saddest part is that most of the time a kid is rewarded by getting the charge call.

David Johnson Named Sweet Sixteen MVP
bamaboy89 replied to Smallhoops's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
David's game is solid. If you need him to score; he can score. What he does best is make everyone around him better. If you've watched him play, quickly you will see that he is the best player on the court, always in control. -
Possibly, but more to my point is that they will need everyone to rebound. I noticed on the team page the Jolly is the only one close to double figures in rebounding. I think this is gonna be a problem. Trevon Harris, Alex Matthews, and Preston Murrell will attack the glass all night. Half of their points are from the glass and put backs. I think it's gonna be the best game of the session.

No, he was suspended due to being ejected from the semifinal game.
