I have no idea what the top teams in the state look like. But I know John Hardin looks really good. -

College Football Playoff Top 25 (11-5-19)

Nah; I don't listen to him. But I'm with you with the Bama thing. I just think it's too early to really tell if PSU or Bama or Clemson is really good. OSU and LSU I think we can all agree they are very good at this point. -

I have no idea how good Bama is this year. They have been about as inconsistent as I have seen them be in years. But on that note, how good is anybody at this point. PSU gets a lot of bump for beating a Michigan team that is ok, an Iowa team that is just ok. I wonder what the vegas line would be for a matchup between PSU and Bama. -

It's the committees job to put the best four teams in the playoffs. That's why they were chosen to be on the committee. Eye test is a buzz word thrown around but the fact is the people in the room are supposed to know what a good football team looks like. The resume and data and analytics are a part of the equation. But you are also supposed to be able to look at film; evaluate film to see who the best four teams are. If all we are gonna use to determine this is data and analytics then why have a committee. Any software programmer can come in develop that. -
@GrantNKY I would like to agree with you about Bama; but man that o-line gives me pause for concern. Something is just not right about those guards. I hope I'm wrong but we won't be able to block LSU with that group that's out there now. Help is on the way by week 4 with the return of Pork Chop and Owens so I'm hoping he can come in an fix the issue. Clemson Bama LSU tOSU UGA OK Wisky Notre Dame Auburn Texas-tie Texas A&M-tie

He had no choice. If he would have stayed like everyone on the "he quit on the team" bus. He would have to have play the following weekend when Lawrence was hurt against Syracuse. Thus eliminating his opportunity to go elsewhere. The kid was 4-0 that season and he was the reason that they beat Texas A&M. Lawrence struggled big time in that game. As golly gee oh shucks as Dabo is; that was surprising. I do think he should have gotten a ring. JMO

I would love to see John Hardin. I don't know what happened between KOB and JH, but man between Pearson and Matthews; you would hope that they could at least sniff the field one of those years. Always a good tourney so can't complain that much. -

I think he just chokes at home. Maybe too much pressure on him in Toronto. But I agree; he played very well in Oracle. -

I think you are seeing this from a San Antonio perspective. Who better to know his body than Kawhi himself. San Antonio and Pop aren't perfect. They make mistakes and they made one with Kawhi. They should have never questioned his desire to play. As Kawhi stated; it caused trust issues. You keep speaking from the teams perspective; I'm stating things that Kawhi himself has stated. I just think the player himself would know best when it's time to return from injury. -

Respectfully I disagree. I think Kawhi, more than any medical staff knows his body. As he stated last night; why would I just stop playing basketball when I love it. Nobody will shed one tear for KD the millionaire, now his entire career is in jeopardy. if Kawhi would have came back early and re-injured his quad; no one would have cared one bit about him either. Apparently there was still lingering concerns from the Toronto medical staff as they kept him from playing back to backs in the early part of the season. -

John Hardin's to win again. At some point Coach McCurry is gonna have to get the respect he deserves. Look for a huge year from Matthews, Harris, and Murrell.

Jay Scrubb signs with Illinois junior college

He was the best player in the class of 18' IMO. Grades always held him back. Scrubb is a potential pro player (maybe not NBA but definitely overseas). -
SEC Strength of schedules (Not a shock)
bamaboy89 replied to newarkcatholicfan's topic in College Football
Again; this is because almost everyone else gets the SOS boost by playing Alabama. This is just another example of the bandwagon foolishness that Bama has to deal with. -
All things Bama. And the show goes on. This radio topic came from other fans claiming that Bama fans were upset because they don't get a quality home game to see during the season. It's just the new fodder to throw against Alabama. They scheduled tough competition for the most part; but that's not good enough, now they need to do it on the road.

I'm buying Nebraska, the division isn't the strongest. Expectations should be 8-4 or 9-3. As a matter of fact; the only sure loss on the schedule is tOSU.

Sean Miller heard on wiretap about paying players
bamaboy89 replied to All State Baseball's topic in College Basketball
The start of this entire investigation was a slippery slope. Truthfully; I don't really want to know what goes on behind those closed doors. I'm sure we all know that something goes on, and if you don't think it happens at your school well then I don't know what to say. But sports is a release and escape for the most part. To me, it's entertainment and I'm still gonna watch regardless of who is paying. -
I don't know Sean personally; but I am very familiar with his journey. I am extremely happy for him and his family that this portion has ended. It is a very stressful and difficult journey and to see him in the end get to choose wherever he wants to attend school is satisfying from a distance. Congrats again and good luck.
