CCH could easily have 5 players average around 10+ points compared to last year's team with two averaging more than 16. The top 6 of Thelen, Fleek, Davin, Disken, Greene, and Mayer will all have big nights depending on the various match-ups. Even if Mayer doesn't play, Greene can completely fill his shoes. We will see this in the first couple of games while Mayer is playing for another football state championship (which will make 3 total rings for him)! This team will easily be ranked in the Kentucky's top 5 this season.

Regarding the players, these kids are all solid! No superstars like the last couple of years but they are all ballers. It looks like Thelen got the most first place votes and I would agree that he is better than Jolly (not trying to take anything away from Jolly). It should be another fun season!

It's hard to believe basketball is here already - I guess I have been enjoying football too much! It looks like the coaches picked the top two teams pretty easily with CCH getting all but one of the first place votes. The difference between this year and last will be that the top two are more likely to get upset by another NKY team. The gap has narrowed slightly. After the top 2, I think it is a toss up. Beechwood and Newport will be better than Dixie. Ryle shouldn't be in the top 10 but Conner and Lloyd might surprise some of you.

I would've thought Beechwood was somewhere in the mix but it look like they are not.

Does anyone have stats to share?

This is Ryle's best Frosh team in a while. CCH is consistently good. Ryle lost to Highlands in OT. CCH beat Highlands handily. I am going with CCH by double digits.
