I love it! Keeping quiet over here. Waiting to see what unfolds after the season. Kinda reminds me of the basketball player from Scott last year. Was committed early to a smaller school. Tore it up his senior year especially during the tournament and switched to a bigger school. Was just named freshman player of the week...... Hope he is just focusing in on Saturday. On the other hand.... I would never blame him for Miami... Start right away and a top notch school academically!!! Go AJ and go Colonels!!!

Nevermind..... Here is an article about his success. Looks like he is a great leader for Madison Southern with some hugh #'s. Foot in mouth! Will be a better game than most anticipate but still expect CCH to come out on top.... Looks like the consensus here is everyone's qb...... From watching Madison Southern's game the other night it seems as they are more of a run team though. Not knocking the qb by any means because I think he has put up some good #'s running and passing but they may be hurt as much as CCH would be if our qb went out... IMO....

Everyone is right. Trinity and X would have crushed CCH in the past. CCH is having an atypical year but their program is on the up and up. They are building a strong feeder program. Their youth program plays in the GCL feeder league with feeder schools that send the kids to Cincinnati X, Moeller, Elder, and Lasalle. CCH’s 7-8th grade Team actually were the league champs this year. I’d give it a few years to see where CCH is and then reevaluate to see if they could compete with Louisville Catholic schools on the regular. I hope so!!!

I was going to post the same thing. They have FREE professional coverage of State Championships in Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Tennessee, and others that others can enjoy. For goodness sakes Ohio has coverage of playoffs on TV in high quality. I understand that we may not be able to do this for playoffs and thank goodness for the high quality that some high school’s offer streaming online, but we have to pay to watch poor quality streaming for our State Championships. I’d imagine there may even be a few scholarships offered from what a scout may see just watching these games on TV even if it is a small school.... sad IMO.....

I say no but this is why we play the game. I watched the SW vs BG game last week and was impressed by the speed and quickness of the back (#5 I think) and one of the d lineman. Big and strong guy. With that being said, CCH is a duel threat team and our D is lock down. I expect a better game than the other 10 running clocks but still a 21+ win by the Blue Colonels!! Wish I could make the trip..... 5 and 3 year old make it tough to do so....

I was actually kind of worried about the Purples next week b/c of the hype of their running game. After I watched that game last night and watching or listening to CCH games all year I was no longer worried. By the way. No sarcasm here. I really think CCH would have beat Trinity this year. Not years in past nor next year..... I may have exaggerated by saying they would work them but thing their high powered offense and shut down D they would have won. For goodness sakes. They have put a running clock on all KY teams. What is the record for that?

From what I can tell grass from looking at some film. No rain in the forecast and 50 degrees as the high.

Will be a battle. #5 runs the gaps quickly. However I will say, the Covington Catholic as put a running clock on 10 of 10 teams.

Dont_Hate_The_Game.... CCH would run clock both. Be glad your team made it this far. Some teams are lucky to get off the bus 1st round. BTW. CCH would work Trinity this year....

You say take just 1,2 or 3..... Is that per distric? Like I mentioned in post 1. We beat a #1 seed in round 4 by 42. This won’t fix anything. I hate to say it but AGAIN, there areas with better teams year in, year out. All depends on which class. You may have a few year gap but as an example out of my schools class. What region/ district/ part of state has 6A been held in almost every year? BTW- My school has won several championships but have had many down years...

Game at SW. Their RB is quick. Never overlook which I know Eddie and his staff won’t.who is the best in the other bracket?

What is your suggestion? My senior year after Beating a team in the semis in double overtime we would have put a running clock on the team in the quarter finals (before running clock). I agree with you but I don’t even know where to begin. People will say go to 4 class system. I think it may be even worse. There are just areas and teams that have that much more talent.... my opinion...

Does BG video stream their games? Asking for CCH fans that can’t make the trip next week. If not CCH radio is very good as well as the updates on Bluegrass Preps. Just love watching live.

I know @theguru!!! I was just saying WOW about the score. I would think this deep in the playoffs that it may be a bit closer. I’m seeing 10 for 10 running clocks on KY teams.
