Danville returns 3 starters and got one of the best Sophomores in the State that had to sit out last year at PG.

I heard Grant Hotchkiss is playing for Boyle County this year, so that certainly helps them. Also hearing that is a real good possibility that Reese Smith stays and plays basketball this year. If Reese stays Boyle County has a shot at winning the District and Region. Grant and Resse are both 10 top players in the Region. Also, Danville getting Aden Slone will be huge, I think if Danville had a point guard last year they would've won the region. Aden is one of the best PGs in the State. Dontae and Aden will make up one good backcourt. 45th District will be a war if all this happens.

I remember when Danville was playing Highlands in either 2002 or 2003 at Highlands, it was a great game and a Danville fan was giving Coach Sam Harp a terrible time. The fan was saying your offense sucks, you're terrible, run something different etc, what he didn't know was Sam Harp's Son was in the stands, Chase Harp. Chase stood up standing around 6'4 big as heck and said if you wanna run your mouth, run it to me. We didn't hear another word from the guy the rest of the night LOL. Oh, Danville won the game on a punt return for a TD. I respect all coaches because its a tough job.

To be honest the only game that Danville was just dominated was the Boyle County game. Clay Clevenger is a great coach and gets the best out of his players.

I Agree 100% I think Sam Harp stayed too long at Danville. Sometimes it's just time to hang it up and move on.

My Cousin starts defense for Trinity, and he told me after his Junior class graduates it will be some down years for Trinity. He seems to think that Coach Beatty will step down when his Junior class graduates.
