Correction. Brossart had a 9 point lead at half.

The Lady Stangs won the battle of the Campbell co. catholics tonight in Alexandria. After the first half in which Brossart pretty much controlled the game they went into the locker room with a 10 point lead. When the third quarter started the lady Breds were a team on a mission and took a 1 point lead into the the final quarter. The Lady Stangs would take the lead back on an 1 along with hitting their free throws down the stretch for the final score. Now on to senior tomorrow evening.

50-43 Brossart with the win.

26-17 Brossart at the half.

The Lady Stangs started off a bit sluggish and found themselves in a 10-0 hole. After a timeout was called with about 3 mins to go in the first quarter they went on an 18-2 run to end the half and never looked back. Defense was a big part in their run holding Holy Cross to a single field after the first quarter timeout. If you enjoy watching the defensive side of the game I suggest you check out these girls they can bring it! Next up is the battle of the Campbell Co. fish eaters (NCC) on Friday. Good luck ladies.

Congrats!

When Broassart's girls played GRC back in January we went to the high school first not realizing it had not opened yet for play and there was plenty of parking all the way around the campus.

Apparently I paid to watch the officials in this game tonight. WOOF!

Welcome back ladies, it was nice to get back into the win column.

Does this Augusta team usually play this type of game where they are losing the game and decide to just dribble the ball at half court in order to get the last shot especially in the first half? Asking for a friend.

The Lady Stangs played a good defensive game last night but injuries and sickness are definitely not helping them out on the court. Get well soon!

2 starters still out from the All A game an another varsity player sick.

Impressive win!

Tough game for The Lady Stangs tonight in Erlanger. Untimely turnovers along with some injuries really hampered our chances in this one. On a positive note the bench played well and got some valuable minutes that will serve them well in future competition. Keep your heads up ladies and move on to the next game.

I like to thank the students who made the trek along with the many fans that came to support the girls tonight as well.

The Lady Stangs take their second loss on the year at The All A to a good Owensboro team. Turnovers were a key to their demise along with some open looks that just didn’t fall. I’m so proud of this team and the future looks awesome. On to the next game Ladies!

Good luck to The Lady Stangs of Bishop Brossart they got a tough one right out of the gate.

I will be rooting for my Mustangs of Bishop Brossart. They are on a 14 game winning streak coming into the tournament. Good luck boys!

The Lady Stangs traveled to Winchester this evening to do battle with Cards on their home turf. Once Brossart took the lead early in the game they never looked back. Too many missed free throws late in the 4th allowed Grc to get back in the game but the last 2 for Brossart found the bottom of the net which help secure the 1pt win. Congrats on a big win against a really good ball club and good luck next week in The All A.

The Lady Stangs make it back to back 10th Region All A champs tonight at Robertson Co. They will move onto the state tournament to take in the defending All A champs Owensboro Catholic. Good luck Ladies.

Thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery.

A fantastic come from behind win last night in The All A semis from The Mustangs. Verst with ice water in his vanes hits a game tying 3 and later on hits two clutch free throws to cap off the 3 point victory. He must get his talents from his mother!

Impressive defensive outing for The Lady Mustangs last night in The All A semis. They held the Lady hounds to just 2 field goals in the second half. Not bad against a team that had 4 players averaging double figures. I won't lie but I wish this win included Ms. Strings on the court for the whole game. She seems to be a really good player along with be a quality student as well. My thoughts and prayers go out to her for a speedy recovery.
