In the 8th region it would be the first round district matchup between North Oldham and South Oldham at North Oldham. Great rivalry with North already beating them once and South looking for revenge. Place will be rocking.

Found my answer thanks to Colonel Mike's 8th Region update. Oldham County looks like they are the #1 seed with North beating South last night.

What was voted on as the tie breaker in district 29? You have a three way tie for first with Oldham County, South Oldham and North Oldham. I Would be interested to hear of other tie breaking methods around the state. Anyone still flip a coin?

I visited a few gyms during the district and region tourney's and due to the temp outside and number of bodies they were all hot. After watching a lot of poor shooting at the 8th region tourney I'm sure the fans turned on wouldn't have hurt. Drink water and dress accordingly.

Nice win by AC. Great defense. According to Pegasus, South was 5-31 16% from three. Came in at 42.9% for the season. Live by it and die by it.

I had them as the favorite. Probably a toss up now.

Collins came out shaky. Loose with the ball and cold shooting. I thought OC was going to run away with it after the 1st quarter. The second half was a different story. I wouldn't be surprised to see the team I saw in the 2nd half at Rupp. Not really sure who the favorite is now. AC, Collins, South?

Nice game plan by Coach Z rotating bodies on Griffin and picking him up full court. OC's defense made it extremely difficult for South to get open looks. One of the great rivalries in The state. I would like to see a rematch in the region finals.

I believe the last two district championships South and OC have played the Colonels have won and South went on to win the 8th region tourney. Should be a great game.

Jenkins got into the middle of the lane and drew a little contact with .2 left. Not enough for a foul call in my opinion.

That does sound silly. Seems like they could replace the nets so each champion could cut the nets down.
