Harrison hung around entire game. Grant really Couldn’t put them away. Lots of fouls on both teams. Dawalt had to have about 20 boards.

Did Benton play for Montgomery?

They are definitely going in right direction. HC will only get better.

How many did Connelly have for Spencer and Potter for Shelby valley

This game was decided by the free throw line: South 14-18. Grant 4-8.

Ok then money, host team gets an extra share of the money for being the host school and do they get an extra share for being in tournament. Still doesn’t seem fair.

How is the 8th always have regionals at Henry. Yes it’s a great gym and longest running tournament but doesn’t seem fair to the other schools not to have the opportunity to host. Believe the girls rotate whose turn it is to host. Such a monopoly.

Walton will make a good run this year. They will drop to the bottom for the next 3-4 years until currcent 7-8th graders are juniors and seniors. They have a good group of players and a good coach. I would be shocked if WV coach stays.

I’ve watched Grant several times this year and this was one of the more we’ll exectued and patient I’ve seen them. Dawalt played Miles very well on defense. Hurley for Grant was the best player on floor. He had to have 20 plus points and 8-9 assist. I’ve watched Walton about 8-9 times this year. The difference in the first half was three 3’s by Jones and Grubbs was probably their leading scorer.

54-49 WV, great game plan by Grant County. This game very well may have went the other way. Hard fought game by both teams.

Junior Luke Dawalt scores his 1000th career point in the OT win over Dohn academy. Not sure who the last Grant County player was to score over 1000. Congratulations to a great kid.

Collins was up 12 at the half, up 7 after 3rd. Grant cuts it to 2 points with 4 minutes to go then Collins makes a run and never looked back. Grant missed lot of threes that could have changed the game.

Final from Henry County Invitational. Cody from Western Hills had 23 points. Alger of Grant County had 19 points.

Any stats? Surprised since South just beat them.
