Dlyan Hammonds of Grant County goes over the 2500 career point mark tonight scoring 25 points and 18 rebounds in the win against Williamstown and he is probably 30-40 rebounds away from school record which is around 1350 boards and probably more impressive.

Scott county was one of the bigger schools the state before Great crossing. Less pool of players to pull from when you divide county in half.

Holmes is not very good. Williamstown will have to play amazingly to beat SK at SK in districts.

Dynes Impact on a game does matter. Too bad SK doesn’t play Oldham or Woodford. Would like to see them play. SK shouldn’t be in the 8th region.

Both are top 10 in region and can fill it up. I like both of them.

When Wills plays well for Grant they tend to play well overall. Those two definitely went at each other.

Don’t think they have lost at home. Still have some big home games with North Oldham and Great Crossing back to back in early Feb. and Mason County last game of season. Definitely challenging going into post season.

18-4 roll tribe

Big game from Spencer Breeden 24 and 7 boards, Hammonds 20 &13 boards for Grant. Hammonds goes and gets the rebounds like no other. Shelton for Owen hit 5 maybe 6 from 3’s. Moore with 25 points 6 boards. Good game and great atmosphere at Dry Ridge.

Closer than it should have been?

53-52 Collins 51 seconds, Collins ball. Krohman has made some big shots.

This game could go either way. How deep is Spencer bench? Grant is not deep? Will that factor in. Spencer is definitely the better shooting team.

Ryle is steadily improving and have played several close games. I think Connor wins because of the experience they will have on the floor but would not be shocked if Ryle hangs around.

Grant has one of the only guys in region to match up with Simons Big guy. No he’s not 7’2” but he’s got to be close to 6’10” and way strong than Dynes. Grants guards I think will lock down Krohman like they did on Connors guards. Should be a close game. Braves by double figures 58-48

North’s 3,4,5 spots will be the difference in this game. I think they are better in all those spots. Anderson and Higdon for North should dominate. Although with it being a district game and I’m sure a packed gym these games tend to always be close. Looking forward to this one.

Not supersized. I’ve seen Bracken coach and players get a little wild several times over past couple years. Harrison is solid. Congrats on win.
