Wow, better go to state tournament at Marshall county. Will be a good job for someone , lose two seniors one averaged 9 a game the other 1.6 per, top two scorers returning are juniors. Onen of the goody guys in the profession, Gua Gillispie, he was head coach there for 13 years and won 293 games, 22.5 wins per year and two state tournament appearances. Expectations are high for the Marshalls.

They hired Billy Edge as the coach over the summer then fired him during the month of January. Replaced him with assistant coach Blankenship for the remainder of the season. Not sure if the job is open just because of the circumstances and Blankenship is going to get it or if it is open and they are going to entertain all applicants. Bryan Milburn will have a good shot at the position.

Will Chris O'Bryan apply for the open position? Current East Jessamine coach, he is dating, married, or engaged to Jaqueline Coleman, NCHS teacher and interim girls coach.

Somerset is always it seems one of the top middle achooo teams. Last season they won the 7th grade middle school state and this season that same group were runner up in 8th grade to Prestonburg. Looks like a good group coming and their roster is void of seniors. Was Cothrons resignation a forced resignation? If so they probably have their guy lined up.
