Open Job: Greenwood

Featured Replies

Had no idea Jordan left the program. Can't seem to find anything either.

No article on the paper, no mention on wbko but it is posted on their school website.

I know a few NKY Assistant Coaches will apply for this one.

Coach Carter resigned some time ago. From what I understand his family is moving closer to wife's family. The fact that it's been kept so quiet could mean they already have someone in mind. Hard for many people to know about an opening if you only go to a district's web site and search for job openings.

Any news on the Greenwood job? Have not heard anything lately about this.

Heard Bryce Gomes is all over this job.

Friends in the sports biz have told me he's been applying all over the state too, it's a matter of time before he gets picked up somewhere. But could work against him.

Coach Cook has done an amazing good job at Mercer.

Has Coach Gomes applied at other jobs in the western part of the state such as Ohio County and Paducah Tilghman? I also wouldn't be surprised if the former coach at Ohio County goes for the Greenwood job. Also on a hilarious side note, is Mark Starns or Maze Stallworth in the running at Greenwood like everywhere else in the state?

Who is he and what is his background?
