I think a lot of folks are more amused and entertained with "bracken co basketball" then worried.

Although all those events are great money makers and fundraisers I don't think Oh mighty bracken county not coming to a Augusta or them not going to wonderful brooksville will end Augusta's future or year. And I agree George should probably give back a little, but they've made it this far without him im sure they will be just fine with out him or bracken

Will be a big rebuilding year for sure but the kids from Augusta have got used to being competitive and believing in their self so im sure some how they will still find a way to win a few.

OK was a little confused when you said (which they dont deserve) don't get me wrong im all for seeding! Even if they would of seeded the last few years I don't see bracken advancing.

How can U say the Augusta boys team didn't deserve the "money" the last 6 years or so ? They beat Mason they beat bracken so what's not deserving of that ?? This is a boys basketball thread correct ??

And the panthers out rebounded a much bigger team by 10 !!! That's just pure heart and doing what it takes to win !!! This group of kids are something special, playing fundamental smart basketball

You say there is a pattern to the fouls in ALL the Mason vs Augusta games? Is it some conspiracy against Mason ?? Or is it just the aggressive type of ball that Mason plays ?? I really just think its a result of the aggressive style ball Mason plays, there more athletic stronger and bigger, so Augusta plays smarter and blocks out, witch get over the back call, Mason likes to try to block shots and not stay on there feet witch results in more fouls.. I wish them both well in the region.

Augusta beat Mason on the fieldhouse floor and that's called A fluke, they beat you at bracken and it's because of the ref's ??? Maybe stop coming up with excuses and pointing fingers and just face the fact augusta had a great group of kids the past 5 years, and respect there success and realize that Mason is not the only team in the 39th..

I would not go as far as saying "more fun" fun to me is grabbing a nice dinner before the game with no rush and a place to park, and as for "don't go" well there are plenty of folks not going because of the parking arrangements, WFTM and Augusta webcast should have plenty of listeners tonight,

This is crazy, most people are not even home from work yet, have it at Mason every year BC is just not set up to handle this nor are the other 2 schools. Mason has the sets and the parking people don't have to rush and stand in line for 2 hours for a seat,

The panthers seem to be playing some very good ball right now and look a lot more disciplined on the floor, And I truly think this bunch of seniors will not be denied, I'll take Augusta by 4 in a back and forth battle. Hope we can all get there "Mason & Augusta" by 3:30 to get a parking spot and seat,,

I'm torn between this one, I like the packed house the igloo offers, but yes parking is a nightmare and the concessions are not the best, no restaurants in brooksville to grab a snandwitch before the game, for the people and families rushing to the games after work, and I do agree with it having a effect on the attendance.

Sounds like a very nice Resume, I appreciate and have a great deal of respect for our veterans, thank you coach Taylor for your Service, as for them being great player in there time that's wonderful, but great player are not necessarily good coaches or great coaches, as for the pro Soccer player, well that's great not sure how that equals basketball IQ!! Seems they have the staff now they just need the wins..

There coaching staff is superior?? What games have they won that they should not of ?? Augusta is on a 20 win season and playing defense like I've never seen Augusta play before, not taking anything away from st. Pats coaching staff at all they have done a great job, but so has Kirk, so "superior" ?? ill disagree on that if anything Id give Augusta coaching staff a slight edge.. I also don't think this game will come down to coaching.

I'll take the panthers by 12+ there coming in to this tournament with a full head of steam and playing smart basketball as a veteran team should. I've been very impressed with there defense more then anything. This group of seniors want another title and to me right now I can't see anybody stopping this team from that.
