As you know I have been a big fan of the super-regional and have been trying out different regions to see how it all would play out. Here is the 9th Region version using the current BGP rankings. The first round is hosted by the higher seed, everything else will be at NKU. I like this idea. I want there to be a way for a team to see where they are every week and if they gained or lost a seed spot. The only reason NCAA started to come out with their top 16 teams is because it draws more interest in the sport!. It gives us BGPers something to talk about til the actual tournament.

One reason I don't like that is because it sort of it same as it is now. If you do it by Rankings 1-16 it ensures the best 4 teams are remain, then then the best 2. GRC, Paris, Scott, Campbell should all be in the final 4.

Becauss there is no way to really seed the sweet 16. Everyone can for districts to seed based on regular season district games.

Beacause people are afraid it will eventually lead to classification, which the KHSAA is terrified of.
