Final from the Fieldhouse.

Brossart just keeps getting better

Mason--Dunaway 27, Kumler 5, Perkins 4, Lofton 14, Fox 17 (10rebs), Boyd 3, Jackson 2, Mitchell 3. (75)

Bishop--Donnelly 6, Duffy 13, Kremer 15, Hamberg 14, Wieland 1, Schumacher 5, Bell 12. (66)

Actually Mustangs our own enemy in this one. Too many turnovers resulting in Royals baskets led to our undoing.

32 Minutes seems to be another major opponent of this team. We are capable of turning in some impressive first halves and individual quarters, but are yet to put together four complete quarters against quality competition.

In this one we were tied at 24s mid-second quarter, but then trailed 33-26 at the half. In the second half we rally to tie the game at 48-48, and then push out to take the lead at 53-48 to start the final stanza, and then get outscored 12-0 to trail 60-53 and then play ask and answer the rest of the way out to come up short 75-66. Leevi Dunaway put his team on his shoulders late in the game scoring 20 points in the second half to finish the night with 27 points. Brossart had four scorers in double-figures led by senior Bryce Kremer with five 3-pointers for 15 points.

The Mason County Royals improve to 15-15 on the season and need two wins in the upcoming 39th District Tournament to guarantee their 27th consecutive winning season since 1990.

Mason County played well, only thing that we need to work on is, passing, REBOUNDING, and Free-Throws, yea, we hit em, but we have missed TOO MANY this season. Something for the future maybe? Great game, Fieldhouse will be packed Monday Night, hope to get a seat before the crowd rushes in.

Girls will play first from what I am told.
