I have played in games at Mason and Bracken. I have also been to each as a fan. As a player I couldn't care less about the concessions and parking because it did not affect me. What did is the atmosphere, and the effects the gym had. The Fieldhouse is the toughest place I have ever played because of what seemed like the endless backdrop behind the back board. Mason County is only 1 of 2 gyms in the region with 25+ rows of seating behind the goals, and no team, except Mason County and Montgomery County are used to that. Playing at the Fieldhouse ins very hard for a visiting player to adjust to. As a fan it was nice to be spaced out, but it was like ghost town. Now the atmosphere is something different. You put 2000 people in Bracken's gym and the atmosphere is great and enjoyable for the fans, players and everyone involved. You put 2000 people in the Fieldhouse it's kind of dull in boring. And as a player you feed off the atmosphere and your fans. Now in no shape way or form am I saying that Bracken County has a better gym than the Fieldhouse. I'm just saying playing at Bracken County was more enjoyable and easy than at the Fieldhouse.

Because it take away a huge advantage from the perennial #1 seed Mason County. It is closer. And Augusta plays better at Bracken than so at the Fieldhouse.

What if they draw Mason County first round? Do you think Augusta beats Mason County in 2014 if that game is at the Fieldhouse?

But again, Augusta's argument has always been "Do what's best for the kids". Like with the Seed/Draw stuff, the draw is best for their kids. So if it really is all about the kids, not the fans, not the money, or getting back at Bracken's AD and coaches; They would have it at Bracken because that is what is best for Augusta, not giving Mason County an extreme home-court advantage over them by having it at the Fieldhouse.

Why would Augusta want their fans to travel to Mason County 25 minutes away when they could go to Bracken County 10 minutes away? Maybe this will hurt Augusta down along the line when them and Mason County are about even but because they want to get back at Bracken County they choose the Fieldhouse (the hardest gym to play in in the region) and lose. Augusta plays better in Bracken County's gym than Bracken County.

Has anyone heard anything on when this Athletic Director meeting will be?

I think I would be ok with Option 3. Maybe Julian Tackett will say this vote is ridiculous I'm just going to keep it the way it was.

Not the best in the state but region wise Campbell and Paris are superior in the 10th. Don't know how well the would compete with the previous mentioned in the state.

This is probably the best game I have been to this year. I think this was the biggest crowd at a regular season home game since Augusta/Bracken in 2014 when Brent Bach hit the game winner. Whatever you say! Bracken County has a busy week of Montgomery, Williamstown, Newport and capped of with GRC! Hopefully Friday was the turning point and can finish the coming weeks strong and head into districts at peak performance.

I don't know how Montgomery will play after their big loss to Paris. I think their best player Canada won't be back til around district time. I will take Bracken County at home by 15+ if they play the way they did against Pendleton. Hopefully Crawford scores 3,000 in front of his home crowd.

Pendleton County's quarter by quarter scoring is what stuck out me. Bracken County seems to always get outscored in the 3rd quarter.

I think Nicholas County is disagreeing with the preseason posts that it's a 4 team race between Mason, GRC, Scott, Campbell. They are the solid 5 ranking right now and are pushing to break the top 4.
